Easy to miss, and I've been going here for a handful of years, and it's a 4-star now, because I'm comparing it to itself a couple of years ago. Food is still good overall and prices are up slightly (like everywhere else), but the go-to item (Shrimp Pork Siumai, the main reason I would even make the trip) has changed over the years...It's still good, but just not quite the same as before, and it's also MUCH smaller in size the last time I went (like 40-50% smaller). If it tasted as good as before but just smaller, I could overlook it...Again, it's still good, but now I just don't go as often any more. Now I mainly go for the Fried Pork Dumplings which haven't changed over the years yet.
Really great value for the frozen dim sum. Variety is a bit limited but they carry all the staples. Would recommend the Golden Lava Bun if you like sweet steamed buns.Great customer service when I arrived and the ladies there were very patient with me. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.
Pretty good dim sum for what it is. If you look at the price point, the value/quality you receive is good. For example, some of the dumplings are smaller than other places but at this price, it's very fair. Tried the steamed and frozen dim sum. Steamed takes 20 minutes but you can call ahead and order for pick-up. My favourite dim sum item of all time is rice noodle roll with shrimp, the price here is so worth it. It's much less than other places.
Great dim sum take out. We purchase the frozen dim sum to take home! It’s great! Adding the updated menu with updated pricing. April 2022
Great dim sum! A hole in the wall place, no dine-in. You place your order by choosing what you want on a paper and it's ready in 20 mins or so. Cash accepted. Will definitely be going back!
Truly a Mississauga gem. Protect this place at all costs. Fast service and amazing price for quality. It gets busy during peak hours so make sure to call ahead of time. Highly recommended for a low key inexpensive dim sum place that will win your hearts and bellies.
Yummy dim-sum takeout place! Just check their website to see the menu options and then call ahead to order before going to pick it up after about 30 minutes! We got: shu mai, ha gow, rice noodle rolls (stuffed and plain), fried spring rolls, fried dumplings, sponge cake, BBQ pork steamed buns, curry squid and beef tripe.Ate it with some radish rice cakes and veggies for a delicious weekend lunch.
No frills, tasty dimsum, at a very reasonable price. Though their menu isn't huge, it has a good variety. You fill out a sheet with your preference, hand it in pay ( cash or debit) and then they call you at your provided phone number when your order is ready - usually about 20 min.
I wish I lived in the area; I'd be here every week. You can't go wrong with the fresh or frozen varieties. I'm always shocked by how little these cost to buy. Happy Dim Sum Bakery does it best!
Serving frozen and take out Dim Sum, very affordable if you are looking for a quick fix.
