Eating food here just reminded me of Bombay. Waooo and waooo is the only word I have to say while describing the taste of Manchurian rice, chicken lollypop and soup. Also, thanks to Geetika for good customer service.
We enjoy the food in this restaurant. Most weekends we choose to eat here as a family. Their fried spicy Calamari under appetizers is a wonderful treat, especially for people who like something hot and spicy to start with. Some other favorites of our family are Green Chicken Curry, the spicy Basil chicken curry and Singapore noodles. We are looking forward to trying other delectable dishes... there are many weekends left!
This restaurant never follows instructions on the order. I ordered spicy basil shrimp (semi dry). The restaurant charged me extra for the semi dry option. What they delivered was shrimp floating in red gravy. I called the restaurant and brought it to their attention. The girl who answered the phone checked with the cook. This is what they said to me "Yes mam, the cook prepared the dish as semi gravy but the gravy increases when packed. Why don't you reduce the gravy to your liking yourself." Not once could they apologize, but just kept arguing with me. I told the girl I will be posting this on social media and she replied yes, go ahead. I am attaching a picture so that people can decide whether they served the dish as semi gravy or the gravy just multiplied within the container on its own. Learn customer service. I wasn't asking for a refund, but a sorry would help!!
Best Hakka Chinese in GTA.Our favourite menu and go-to menu after trying almost everything here.Wanton soup/manchow soupChicken lollipopTandoori fried riceChicken Hunan sauceVery good dine-in service. Takes 45mins for pickup orders but worth all the wait time.
Great restaurant with good yummy food. They also serve my favorite sweet corn soup and American chop sue with a twist. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to everyone who is fond of Hakka Chinese cuisine.
We went to at another restaurant but since it was closing time , we tried our luck at hakka chilli. It is a great restaurant for Indian style chinese. Service was quick and the quantity was enough for two for the things we ordered.
We walked in yesterday at 7:30 for dinner with a friend. Quickly ordered our food because we were hungry. No water, no drinks were given. Sat and waited for half an hour, then our soup came. Another 30mins passed, sat with empty bowl and we asked our server where our food was, she said 5 mins. 15 mins gone by and our first meat dish came. We had to ask for our bowl of rice which was ordered an hour ago. Shouldn't it automatically come with the dish? We ate the beef and we again asked for our fish and okra, took another 20 mins. Never had I ever have to wait over an hour for hakka. The serving staff were new, so I don't blame them for not bringing water or rice or sauces. Food were mediocre, won't be returning.Reply to unapologetic owner: We came in on December 11, around 7:30pm. Your staff did not take down our name or number for contact tracing. I don't see how I would be on your system.
It was a great dine in experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. They offer amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Service was delightful and very professional. Highly recommended.
Excellent service from aswin. Loved the food too. Would definitely come back for the heart warming service. Keep up the good work guys
The taste of food is moderate. However, there is no consistency during the past few years in improving the taste leave alone maintaining same standards. On take aways, sauce is missed to be added in separate containers in spite of request.Lot is desired from this restaurant if they need to be competitive.
