Great quality fish & chips, doesn't taste greasy and good sized portions
First visit on a Thursday mid afternoon and restaurant had steady stream of customers. The fish is cooked to order so a little bit of a wait which is totally understandable. I had haddock and chips which was a very good sized portion. The batter was light and the fish tender and moist. Nothing noteworthy on the fries. I will definitely be there again.
Very cozy place, super clean and very kind and polite people attending. Generous dishes and excellent flavour. Highly recommend.

This afternoon with Linda and George, I enjoyed fish and chips here, along with coleslaw and picked beets. I have been here many times and find the food consistently excellent. Real home cooking and you would have to go a long, long way to find any better. Also the staff are all very friendly and treat you like family.
Fresh fish with light batter. Awesome chowder. Fantastic home made tartar sauce. The fries were not soaking in oil. Good Friday night dinner. Be careful of the wait times as it gets busy. But good things come to those who wait.
Second time trying this place out and it’s still a NO for me. Halibut was extremely dry just like the chips. Oil was OLD my fish tasted like rubber and the batter was bland. Homemade tartar sauce was good that’s about it.
Great customer service and the best fish and chips in town....great menu, lots of variety and so many homemade treats! Try Elaine's beets, so good!
