Just celebrated my birthday here with family. The decor and ambiance was beautiful, food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Best birthday singing by any restaurant staff I've heard. And the cheesecake my goodness.Highly recommend El Petra. If you like middle eastern cuisine, you'll love Jordanian food and the overall vibes here.
They've had new ownership recently, and it shows! One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long while.Our group of friends ordered drinks that we didn't like - the owner offered to replace them free of cost to anything on the menu + gave us free dessert to make up for it! The rest of the meal service was incredible as well.The menu has also improved. I would give the food a solid 8/10.The new ownership clearly cares for the customer experience. Highly recommend going here.
This is a very good restaurant, it’s pretty and authentic. It’s gets very busy!! So the seating can quickly become limiting and the place can become super busyIt’s an authentic place, the shisha is good and it’s pretty clean there.
Extremely tasteless and some items are so salty. Terrible service. We received drinks after food was done and the straw for the drink, 20min after. I would give it 0 star, if there was an option. There are better places to spend your time and money. Extremely disappointed. Definitely do not recommend this place. Their choice of live music is so dull.
Love the traditional vibez ?? Food at the buffet was amazing for Ramadan. There was all kinds of meat for everyone. Shisha was fire? The Petra Mix and blueberry mint were the best flavors? definitely recommend for family event. The servers were always coming by checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. There was someone coming by changing our charcoal and shisha head when needed. Overall an amazing experience and the live music was enjoyable after our Iftar meal ?❤️ Loved the vibez! definitely coming back!
Did I say best customer service ? Well the best customer service by far in Mississauga. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you are taken care for !The food was really good. We tired the hummus with meat. I don’t remember the name but it was GOOD.Would definitely recommend having Kofta with Tahini.Oh and they have the best fluffy bread or naan. They serve it fresh and HOT.They have live music that starts at 9pm.Also the owner went out of his way to get us something and everyone should know. We ordered Turkish coffee, and as we all know it’s toooo bitter, so we had asked for something sweet on the side. The owner got cookies for everyone (a group of 10). Plus he gave us a packet of cookies to take home with us, worth 25$ I believe.I would definitely keep coming here for food, customer service and ambience.
Went to the reopening on March 6 and had so much fun. The food was amazing and the entertainment there was so delightful. Owner is amazing and talked to everyone

Easy to find location. Excellent service. Amazing staff. Nicely laid out and setup.Unlike other similar venues this one is classy from the moment you enter. Security is polite and professional and for those seeking a fun night this is definitely a place to visit.Great attention to detail. Fun DJ The most impressive part was when the establishment closed for the night. The classiest clients with ppl thanking staff and telling them how they enjoyed the evening.No arguments. No displeasure about treatment. Highly recommend trying out this establishment and having yourself a fun fun fun night out :)
Delicious food, great music with great atmosphere, we celebrated our friend’s birthday and dj was so kind to sing him happy birthday. Definitely will be back!
