We took our son's family there and ate on the patio. The patio needs a serious updating and repair. Inside it is dingy and old, old old. We ordered tacos and enchilados. The enchiladas were good, but the tacos just had ground beef in them. No sour cream. Very little in sauce. We were fooled by the reviews exclaiming: "Hidden Gem, Amazing" and "Best Mexican in town" I now suspect these were "planted" reviews. We have eaten in the American Mexican restaurants and I guess were completely spoiled. It was Thursday night and there was a good crowd; I don't know why. The bill for 4 people and 1 kid came to $102.00 I would not return.
Great place to eat. The patio feels like you're in your back yard. The drinks were well prepared and the food was also good..waitress was very friendly and would only check in when needed. The only downside for not giving it a 5 star...the 90 minute restriction. Other than that, highly recommended!
Great Mexican food great vibe. Great service. We ordered the chicken chimichangas and tortilla soup. The chimichangas is so good and the portion is big. Definitely will be back and try some taco next time!
Came for an early dinner and it was quiet when we arrived. The place got very busy quite quickly. We ordered the tostaditas appetizer and fajitas. Service was friendly, but due to the busyness they didn't come check on our food.We had the horchata and it was tasty. We were hoping for a seat on the patio but there wasn't shade available. It looks like a nice spot to sit outside.
I went for the first time and it’s a 10/10 for me; I feel like the flavour of everything is really well balanced, the only thing is they have huge portions! If you’re someone who doesn’t eat a lot I rec sharing :) The waitress was really kind as well (Thank you Victoria!)
* The layout is poor, and needs some fixing... the owner shouldn't be surprised by this comment * our server: lovely * I had Corn Cup: Canned corn with mexi cheese served hot ? Needed Cilantro, lime and a wee bit of jalapeno .. how about Corn on the grill? -- one heck of a profit margin. * had Tortilla soup.. same, tasted like canned tomatoe soup, no zing
The food was not too bad there, the authentic Mexican feel is amazing. You do get that experience like you were actually outside of Canada. The patio is not the greatest and definitely needs an overhaul, we were sat right beside the storage area and the garbage we were probably the best dress people there. They said they had to look at reservations and the place wasn’t really that busy. The patio feels pinched and cluttered but the menu is immerse and has depth to it.Great place to bring the boys or really close friends for some authentic Spanish food and to have some drinks during the day.Servers: were respectful and courteous, she gave a lot of options.Service time: 6-9 minutes , we did have to wait for a while but could’ve been a strategy to allow us more time to order.Food time: once we ordered the food came extremely fast and the temperature was quiet good.Recommendation: Check the menu before you head over there.
Lovely restaurant! I love the colourful atmosphere. The servers were all so friendly and accommodating. We walked in with a group of 8 people on a relatively busy Thursday night and they seated us within 20 minutes. I ordered El Pastor tacos (~$18), a pina colda and a grapefruit cocktail (~$10 each). Keep up the great work El Mariachi
It was a great cozy experience. The staff members and waiters were very good, humble and polite. That being said the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the taste. The Tacos could have been better, but I must say the Fajitas was really good. I loved the experience and had a great time.
Cheap and authentic mexican food ;)
