Fantastic location and amazing staff. We had an amazing experience and will definately be back.We have been to a couple of different Eastside Mario's and this is by far the best one. Thanks to Jason and his, staff for making us, feel like family.
A friend and I were looking for soup on a windy spring evening. On a budget we ended up here. A pizza and add ons of a salad and the soup with generous helps of freshly grated parmesan, we were full. The place was packed and we had to wait on a weekday evening. It's nicely done, lot of place to sit, and absolutely delightful servers.Got the four meat pizza, was freshly baked, have had better but was not bad.The Cesar salad and the tomato soup are the stars here and it's bottomless, so are some of the drinks!!
What an amazing experience I had. The servers were so friendly and welcoming and my scallop carbonara was extra tasty!!! I wish they brought back the donuts though. I would eat them all in one bite
I was here about 1 week ago for lunch with my wife.Decided to come back today due to our experience. Menu and March break special appealed to us to bring the kids.Experience went down quickly:- no cotton candy for kid drinks- no blow pop drink available- at least 15 minute wait at beginning- no check in during meal- no team work from what I can see- our server had majority of the tablesReason given was due to COVID and not having stock and not expecting the crowd. Fine, trying to have some sympathy. Yes there are shortages everywhere. However organization and team work make a difference in these situations. It is our first 2 visits to this location, not sure will come back for any specials moving forward especially with kids that have the least patience waiting for foodEdit: increased rating as Manager tried to make it right
We all got something that we liked to eat and drink. Friendly staff. The food is average we all throught.
Overall was good.At the beginning, they took around 20min to come back to get the order on our table. Maybe forgot about us, or changing shifts or smt.. but after that i call the server was everything good. Didn't take long anymore... food came also fast.. salada delicious as always pasta as well... the meat ball wasn't how I expected. First time that i ordered meat ball, didn't like it. The chicken parmigiana was delicious. The drink also wasn't that good.
Carissa! So helpful..so pleasant. All the patience in the world with me and the group of family members that came in. You remember great experiences and terrible experiences the most. This was definitely a great visit I won't forget. Thanks to the whole team. We'll be back.
On Saturday January 29, 2022 my best friend and I chose to order delivery after a very trying day. When our food arrived (very quickly ahead of estimates) it was fresh, nice and hot and well packaged! Inside we found a thank you note from the restaurant thanking us for our business! This made us so happy. To know that we are appreciated and valued as customers made our day! We will be ordering from you often as I appreciate all of the staff and your efforts to make us happy (and very well fed). All of my experiences from dine in to take out have always been wonderful at this location.
Second time eating at East Side Mario’s. The first was a few months ago at the Eglinton East location in Scarborough and it was so good my Dad and I tried this one in Mississauga a couple of days ago. From start to finish we were completely impressed by the nice staff to the great food with large portions. Perfect ambience and totally clean. We were served by Alisha B, she was nothing but pleasant chatty & charming and excellent at her job. The quality control of this establishment is top notch so well done to the owners & management. I’ve been to Italy and NYC so this restaurant in my opinion is a perfect hybrid of the two!
The service and food at this location has gone down significantly since the previous time I visited 6 months ago. We ordered the build your own pasta since it comes with all you can eat salad and bread. We ordered and we’re brought one loaf of bread and very small salads, the waitress did not return to our table for 20 minutes and we had to ask the hostess for more bread and salad. We felt completely forgotten about and that we did not get the all you can eat experience so not only was that a waste of money, but the quality of the food was also horrible. The salad was all white watery end pieces or very few soggy actually pieces of lettuce. The salad had barely any dressing on it so when we finally got our second round of salad I asked for more dressing. The salad came back completely drenched in dressing to the point I could barely even eat it, I just put it to the side and didn’t even take a bite. We sat for longer with no water, no following up to ask us how the food was. Their pasta is thrown together with pasta and sauce you can buy in a jar at Nofrills with frozen vegetables and is not worth the price. We told the manager we don’t want to return but all she could offer us was a $25 gift card, not even the full price of our meal. I used to love East Side Mario’s but after this experience I will never be retuning, even with a gift card. They’re food has gotten more expensive and worse in quality. Like previous review I would recommend going to chucks beside, with better food and cheaper prices.
