My family's FAVOURITE italian restaurant in Mississauga! We've been coming here for years. They now have a patio as well. Always great service and food here. Recently got take out for my mother's birthday dinner. And all of our order was fantastic: grilled calamari, burrata salad, pizzas and pasta.
This place has the most friendly staff who welcomed us with jokes and smiles. We tend to try the Chicken Parm wherever we go, and this has one of the best ones in the West end. The desserts are a must!
We have been to Casalinga 4 or 5 times and have found our new favorite restaurant. Everything we have tried is excellent. We have been to all the local restaurants in Clarkson and this is the best. Friendly service, excellent food, good service and a good selection of 1/2 liter wines.
The fish special was exquisite. The pasta was delicious. The wine was refreshing. Our waiters were extremely helpful. All in all… “It was worth the drive from Hamilton!”
The best part of the meal was the pistachio cheesecake by far. It was so amazing. The rest of the food was good, but not amazing. The service I found was lacking, and the space is quite cramped and packed so it’s not the most comfortable dining experience. We had the funghi and seafood risotto, the seafood one was better for sure. The charcuterie board was yummy but I didn’t feel like it was anything special. The free bread at the start was really good though.
Went on a Saturday at around 4:30 and the place was more upscale than expected. Had no reservation but the place was pretty empty so I asked for a table for 2. The host was initially reluctant and a bit rough around the edges but did seat us with the condition we finish before 6 since a big group was coming.The server was a amazing! She was kind, answered all our questions and checked on us regularly. Food was top notch and the environment was perfect for a date night.Overall a great place but couldn’t shake that first impression off completely.
We have a eaten here a few times and the food has always been great. But we were recently there for dinner with some friends and we had the worst service from the waitress Tracey or Stacey was her name and she was rude, demeaning, her behaviour was ridiculous and she should get herself fired. This is the hospitality business and good service is imperative if you want repeat business and to be recommended or receive good reviews. This waitress is in the wrong profession and maybe she should look for a job in undertaking where the customer doesn’t talk back. Very poor service and she gives this establishment a extremely low rating. Good food and good service is usually a package deal for me. Ditch the waitress.
Will not rush back ???? Clean and friendly resturant. Prices are fair but the food was just ok. Nothing that wow’d at all. Clean, simple dishes that I feel could have taken at least 1 risk to make it delicious. More of a home cooked simple feel. I would rather take my chances and explore somewhere new than go back and be bored.
It was our first time at this restaurant and we do not intend go go back. The food is good, but very basic. On the other hand, the service offered was excellent. In addition, the atmosphere (music) was simply mediocre.
So good! My husband took me here for Valentines Day during the price fixe menu and it was so good! We ended up coming back within the same month for a double date. The pasta was so good and they have a really good selection of items on the menu. Everything was cooked perfectly, nothing overdone. Great ambiance and customer service!
