Was pleasantly surprised by this place. As soon as you step through the front door, the atmosphere/ambiance makes it feel as if you’re in an elegant high-end restaurant! Staff were extremely polite and service was quick, water was served with minutes after being seated and our food took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. I did find this place to be slightly more expensive than other Afghan restaurants that serve the same/similar food but I feel for the overall experience, it is worth it.Names of items in the order of the pictures:1.) Went to the restaurant at 11 pm and the receptionist tells us that they are about to close at 11:30 pm even though their Google profile shows 12 am closing time. Later on they tell us that they only do take out after 11 pm but no mention of that was made online.Anyways we let her know we won't be long and get seated. They even let another family in after us so I don't understand why it was a big deal for us.Food was a disappointment. Total bill came to around $75. $13 for honey garlic wings (filled with oil at the bottom and looked to be just boiled with honey garlic thrown on top), $11 for lamb chops (if you could call them that, 4 small pieces barely longer than the length of my phone in the picture). Initially the server told us there would be 6 pieces and then we got 4 and when asked why she mentioned because these were bigger pieces the chef gave 4. Server did went back, corrected what she said earlier, and gave us 2 extra pieces without us asking. $19 for the lamb shank (the only good dish), $24 for combo 6 (beef pieces were undercooked but at this point we were too tired to say anything). At the end we were told that the chef was also a trainee but that is no excuse for low balling on food quality or quantity especially when they are priced so much higher than competing Afghan restaurants.Server was polite, decent and apologized for the issues and corrected her mistakes. However to deter a customer entering the restaurant by saying 'we are about to close' when there is an hour left and multiple families inside and another who is allowed after us, is not respectful. And then to say a certain food item is one quantity and then when served it is less than mentioned is also disrespectful.
Really fabulous lunch dining on authentic Afghan cuisine. Having ordered a platter for two, there were many different dishes to try ranging from dumplings, kebabs, rice, breads, salad, etc. We finished up with a lovely pudding that was delicately perfumed with cardamom and had a rich dairy flavour. I felt it was a great value for the money and will be back to sample more delicious dishes soon!
We visited this restaurant yesterday. The food was delicious, especially the beef chaplee and beef tikka. Tandoori tikka was a bit bland though. They have a nice large dine-in area with welcoming staff.

Delicious and fresh food ! We had the lamb shank ( meat was cooked perfectly - like butter ) and the chicken tikka ( juicy and wonderfully seasoned ). Also restaurant is super clean and has a gorgeous modern design with Afghan influence.
Hands off, it is one of the most brilliant places to experience authentic kebabs. We ordered a combo of chicken tikkas (tandoori and regular). Amazing food, even better ambiance (thank god we can dine in again). And the service provided was like a cherry on the cake.On the other hand, we experienced a little trouble because of the annoying party sitting next to us who wanted to have Mcdonald's inside the restaurant. The situation was dealt professionally by the assertive server, who made sure that the other customers dont have to experience any inconvenience.Overall i would give full marks to this restaurant.
Wow! Amazing place! Very elegant restaurant that gives you a high-end feeling but prices are very affordable. Food is incredible! It is soooo delicious, you can't stop eating even when you are full. Customer service was great too. Very genuine personnel. It's definitely s hidden gem!
