I asked to book a party for 20 this restaurant accommodated so well! They called ahead of time to insure that we have enough food for everyone!Kindest staff and the best food EVER!They really made my brother-in-laws birthday so special!We had a Mario themed party and they played Mario cart music the whole time!It felt like we were celebrating his birthday together as family even though we just met the staff and restaurant owners!Definitely coming back again!
Small portions but presented very well! We tried the sashimi, the shrimp hand roll which is not really a hand roll because it's a bit small and some spicy salmon maki, which were a bit small as well.
A refreshing and tasty addition to Port Credit's dinner scene. The atmosphere is elegant and fresh with the emerald green and white decor and yes, the food is excellent. Olga navigated beautifully our questions about the menu. From the duck (not at all greasy and oh so tasty) to the peppers our table of 4 were very happy. A decent wine selection and the evening was a success. We highly recommend Bonsai!!
This was an amazing food experience! We loved trying their range of dishes. All aspects of the menu were unique and clearly very carefully selected. Would highly recommend.
Amazing soft shell crab and lotus chips. Had some hand and maki rolls as well!! Nice environment and great service to complement the luxurious feel of the food!
Loved the fusion aspect, the drinks were amazing and strong, the waiter was literally the nicest person! The duck was a little cold and the udon dish was a little underwhelming and under refined. Still a solid 4/5!
My first experience at Bonsai it was quite lovely. Try the plum sake it was fantastic and with just a hint of sweetness. We tried several appetizers. Highly recommend the crab and the tartare. The service was attentive and timely. she was also quite knowledgable on the whole menu ( food and drink ) and was able to provide several recommendations for us first timers at the place. Definitely a great new location in Port credit.

Incredible food, the Kamikaze platter is the best way to try so many of the delicious menu items at once.Can't stop thinking about the soft-shell crab & Matcha Sour cocktail.A gorgeous new upscale spot in Port Credit
We heard about this restaurant opening from a friend of ours. We've been to a few spots in the PC area and nothing really stands out over the past few years. Bonsai is a great new addition to the area! It's classy and gives that luxury hotel vibe. Menu is priced well for the dishes and service, we had a little bit off of each section. If you like seafood, there are alot of great options! No dish disappoints - compliments to the chef! Staff is super friendly, the owners even came over personally to ask how we enjoyed it and explain a bit more about the restaurant concept. Great experience.
