If you’ve been looking for good Pakistani jalaybee and have been quite disappointed so far—fear not—this is the place. It might be slightly more orange than you’re used to, but it’s pretty great—both in taste and texture!
Always a great experience at this place with staff and the food. However 4 stars only because after coming here for many years, I have had a few stances where the Samoas were old and seemed to be double fried to make it look fresh other than that it's been usually fresh. I will return here again
Visited this sweets shop and i am regular here but today around 6pm ordered 20cooked & 30uncooked samosas and the lady(one short heighted) in rude way saying e have stopped giving uncooked samosa from just now. And in front of me another person uncooked samosas got packed n delivered. This poor rating is for this staff lady (lied during ramadan) & not the store whom i trusted since many years. @Owner, Please educate her on how to talk to customers or ask her to sit at home if she is tensed, this is Canada not her home. Thank you!!
They used to deliver good quality in past how ever for last few months samosas and sweets taste is not upto mark. Kindly look into this and serve people best quality like before.
The samosas - Veg and chicken are a must try! Have tried couple of sweets as well from here. There is almost most of the time on weekends wait time and the queue as well. But the quality is good.
No doubt the food is delicious however the customer service sucks!! I am an old returning customer. I called at 7:05 to order 6 chicken and 6 vegetarian samosas the lady was so rude she said we don’t take phone orders for less than 100 samosas and she hung up without saying Allahhafiz or bye. No phone etiquette at all!!!!I get to the store 15 minutes after the call, 7:20pm and the girl says no more chicken samosas and cannot make more because they close at 9pm. She tried to explain it to us for 10 minutes and then went inside to get 10 vegetarian samosas and came back to say I can give you 6 uncooked chicken samosas. When we already said we are buying it for someone. Then she goes back and says ok we are already cooking it for you it will be ready in 15 mins after wasting our 20 mins of explain and arguing. The owner should re- consider making more chicken samosas before closing time or should keep it aside when customers call, order and claim that they are on their way to pick up the order. It will save a lot of hassle, a lot of time and won’t disappoint old returning customers!!!
As everyone said food is excellent, but attitude is worst. They always prefer there own priorities. They always come with excuses now is too late, not preparing order taking on phone and most popular excuse is no Raita it is finished. Staff is rude to answer customer instead of apology in case of missed order on time. This is not only one time experience happened multiple times. Hope they will work and avoid making name of our community.
Awesome place for authentic pakistani sweets!
A Diamond in the rough, a confectioner that isn't fancy in any way but delivers quality and taste that compares to none other. Their sweets are absolutely delicious and fresh. I've been going there since they opened, and nothing has changed the quality is as good as the first time when my family and I fell in love with their Mittai. My son recently got engaged and we had them make us a 10 pound Kalakand platter, it was so well received by my sons inlaws! Thank you bismillah for being the best sweet shop in the GTA!
Decent chicken samosas. A little too deep-fried/oily for my liking than other samosa's I've tried. It would also be better if you could order ahead and pick up your order rather than wait 10-20 minutes for samosas. Store could also use some upgrades.
