The place is cleans and nicely decorated. The servers are friendly.Dishes are either a hit or a miss.Perfectly cooked dinuguan, but kare-kare was just okay. The selection for dishes was not a lot, so there is little to choose from.
We ordered longsilog and tapsilog for take out from this place then went to a park to enjoy our food. However, the longanisa was very old, dry and hard as a rock! It also had a rotten fish smell that almost made me throw up. I called the store to complain and the lady said they only keep the leftovers for 3 days max. I told her as another Filipina that I know when a longanisa is 3 days old, the ones they gave my husband looked like they were more like 3 weeks old. Plus, the cook tried to revive it by refrying almost to a charred state. One look at it and you would know that it's inedible. Even the tapa wasn't fresh but atleast it was edible. They tried to offer us a free meal on our next visit but I decided to go back and get a refund coz I don't think I'd go back there anymore. We had the same order a couple of weeks back and it was the best breakfast experience my Albanian husband have had so he insisted on coming back but the recent experience made us decide not to ever see this place again.
we ordered platter for 4 inihaw na bangus, fried tilapia and more in the platter. Presentation is good but the taste, sorry. Hopefully, they will check first what they will served. The chicken BBQ is not fresh, sa tagalog malasado na yong meat. We pay extra for the fried rice instead of steam rice, but the fried rice is not really fried rice, basa pa yong kanin at buo buo pa. Nwala yong gana nmin. We just throw the fried rice that we took and the rest untouched. Last year the daing na bagus, the meat is also soft, the bangus is not fresh, also we found a hair strand in the Dingman. It took us a year before we order again hoping to receive a better food.
I have been a customer since they opened . They offer delicious Filipino food. Price is decent. My favorite to order is chicken spring roll , beef steak , pancit , etc. calamaci juice , halo-halo and more. Owner is friendly too. Five star.
My son and I love Berto's BBQ. We go there 2x a week. The staffs are very respectful. Clean place.
Ordered food from them through uber eats. And when I opened my food. The longanisa is soo burn and hard you can't even chew it. Disgusting.
Authentic filipino restaurant. I love their variety of desserts. I also love the seafood combo platter :) delicious!
Always buy from Berto's so I was surprised to receive palabok with calamansi juice in our ubereats order. I called the restaurant and they said they don't usually put it but someone did for some reason No replacement was offered. The more bites we ate of it, we started to notice it didn't taste fresh so we're starting to suspect the calamansi juice was put to cover the taste.
I was very excited to give this place a try but it was terrible. I believe they might be good for catering only but if you plan on having a quick meal to go, save your money and go somewhere else. I ordered S5 longsilog. Rice was so old it was hard like a rock. The pork sausages were cold and dry. So disappointed ?
Awesome food. Easily one of the best Filipino restaurants in town.
