Food was amazingPortion size was HUGE!!We went during a weekday lunch time. It was not that crowded.Had corn chicken soup, fried rice and a chicken dishReasonable price too.Menu had so many different options. Will definitely visit again.Friendly staffFree parking availableFor any Szechaun pepper taste lover, I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!
Some of the food was cold. Service was alright but fast. Didn't particularly like the fact that the menu was on a tab that was just passed around without being wiped down. Portions were large. Ambience felt very local.
I was going to a neighboring food place, but their wait time was three hours for the next table (cough Gyubee). I can see this place being a miss for some people, but that is definitely not the case for me. I ordered some Sichuan food, as well as some dim sum and it did not disappoint! The prices are also very reasonable, and I adore the spicy Sichuan sauce on most of their dishes. Definitely a hidden gem for authentic Chinese food
Great food. Very spicy and flavorful! However, hardly any service. And btw, they dont take visa. Only cash n debit. Highly recommend!!!Edit: Went again. Same story. added more pics. Great food
Excellent quality food, variety of dishes and flavours, and easy to get a table. You order on an iPad so you get to see a photo for practically every dish. This is so helpful if you have family that do not read English, but also because sometimes we’re all tired and just want to see a photo to pick what we feel like eating! This seems to be more of a Northern Chinese cuisine, and there are options for very spicy and also mild dishes. The place is clean and in good order. We’ve come here several times over the last 4 years and each time it has been a good experience (even during the pandemic).
I would give it 5 stars but the service at times totally sucks. Food is great and this is where I get my szechuan fix when in Toronto.
Good place for Sichuan spicy cuisine. The price is reasonable, portion size is good. I will recommend them for sure.
This restaurant has always been one of the top choices for Chinese dinner since day one. Everything is delicious, and tasted the same as the local restaurants in China. The food portion is reasonably large, so be prepared to bring the leftovers home. Food could be a bit spicy and oily but keep in mind it is the traditional style.Restaurant is nicely decorated and clean.Ordering takeout is also a good choice.
It has been a while without going to this restaurant but I guess I would not visit in near future. The food is just average. There is no surprise in compare with other northern cuisine restaurants in the city. The only surprise is their price. Even a cold dish is asking for $14. This is more pricy than other similar restaurants but definitely not the food quality. Service was just average. One of the dishes we ordered was beef brisket which was really like stone hard. Really too hard to chew not mentioned to eat it. Talked to the staff about it but did not get any response or reaction but just listened and walked away. The restaurant was quiet and had only a few table in the night of Valentine's Day. There is a reason for it.
The food was good but the wait for take out was really long. We waited close to an hour if not more. I would recommend calling and ordering ahead if you are doing take out to avoid a long wait.
