Absolutely wise choice for Greek dishes, fancy and huge space, quick service & friendly staff. I went there for a dinner with my partner, despite being less than an hour from closure they seated us.The space is bright and lovely, and the lamb was delicious. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for an very affordable dinner
Truly fantastic and authentic Greek food. Service was quick and friendly. I forgot how cool the decor is in this restaurant. It was also fresh and cool with the hot weather inside.You have to have the saginaki. It's an experience here and a must try if you love cheese. The chicken and lamb souvlaki plates are very generous with both potatoes and rice and the meat.Great experience and will be going back again.
Epic meal! I was so glad to stumble upon this beautiful restaurant. The food was great, atmosphere and service were impeccable. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!P. S. The baklava was amazing and huge!
Amazing venue - the decor has you feeling like you’ve been transported into a friendly greek home.We ordered 2 dips, and 2 souvlaki plates. The plates came but our waitress had forgotten about the dips. We patiently waited and when she checked in and realized, she apologized and got our dip right away.She later went as far as offering baklava on the house and especially after hearing it was my birthday. We also asked for a phone charger and another staff member was able to help us out.Overall really solid. Huge portions .. I would personally go for the chicken souvlaki over the pork next time , just because the cuts were too thick and too fatty for my preference.
Have eaten here many times over the years.... always excellent. Ordered TAKE OUT today ...first time. Souvlaki was burnt.& Dry. Lots of rice & potato...little meat. Disappointed. Will not order again.
This was our first visit to this location. It's the largest Astoria I've even been to and it's great. Our group had various entrees...the lamb chops...so delicious and tender (perfectly cooked); the salmon...very nicely cooked and such a large filet; the chicken souvlaki...very tasty. All the food was delicious and the quantity was very filling too. We finished the meal with baklava...so tasty and such a nice flaky pastry...excellent! The staff was very friendly and served our meal so quickly. We will definitely go again...Such a terrific place!

We visited Astoria last night. Our server was totally unprofessional. The beef souvlaki was delicious but the food portion was less than other Greek restaurants that I have visited in the GTA. The chicken souvlaki was super bland and dried out. I liked the interior design of the restaurant though.
I ordered take out directly from Astoria on 02/28 amounting to $111 for a special occasion and was very disappointed. Have been coming here for the past 10 years at least (dine-in) and the quality is consistently 8 or better. Take out was a diff story, chicken and potatoes seemed to be old and reheated, lamb souvlaki was incredibly hard. Honestly if I was dining in this food would get sent right back to the kitchen. Super disappointed - nobody finished their meal as it just wasn’t good. Would avoid takeout.
Been coming to this place for about 7 years. Service is always great and staff is very friendly. Always come here with my family and for birthdays.My favorite is the Grilled Calamari Salad, and their coffee is my favorite.Will definitely be coming here again and again.
