Would give a zero if I could.5 reasons why I'll never go back here:1) Zero ventilation- if there's a sick individual in there germs will breed due to poor ventilation and warm and moist environment2) The food was cold and tasted like it was made several hours prior and it may just have been, particularly because there was only one person there3) The woman at the counter was rude, she didn't smile or say hello and just shrugged her shoulders at me when I ordered exactly what the names stated4) I believe the woman at the counter is possibly the owner5) Prices would be reasonable if it wasn't old stale foodClosing statement:There's no one there for a reason.
Great selection of homemade Colombian comida! Definately grab some tamales if they're available (they sell out fast).
Love this place! It may not be in my area but it’s always worth the drive over. Really great empanadas
The only place I ever stop for Colombian empanadas and chorizo! ?Make sure to get their hot sauce on the side ?
Food is ok and no more than ok, but what kills this place is that service is so unatentive and unwelcoming. I will never make a bad review on place based on one visit, as everyone has the right to get off of bed on the wrong foot once in a while and that's not the owners fault, but that has been my experience in every single visit.
I just visited this place for the first time a couple of days ago and was really disappointed. I ordered their meat empanadas and I don't know what the filling was made of, but it definitely was not meat. It felt like I was eating a mix between SPAM meat and pâté, a ball of flavourless mush. I purchased 25 as I was hosting a dinner party and unfortunately they did not make an impression on my guests either. I wouldn't have minded the $55+ that I paid if the quality would have been good. I wish they didn't cut corners like this. Definitely not going back, not to mention the potential business they lost.
I bought two Jarritos and accidentally dropped one of the bottles and made a large mess in the premises. The staff were very understanding and kind. They were calm and graciously provided me a free bottle to replace the one I broke.
I asked which options are without onions, garlic and dairy. There was a language barrier with the woman and it was difficult to understand her. Separate from this, she didn't radiate a warm energy which I would have appreciated despite the language barrier. I called twice before coming on Saturday and received voicemail.
Absolutely lovely lunch counter and mini grocery with all of your Colombian faves. Local authentic flavour. The Empanadas are my favourite! They also have frozen treats so you can have your favourites at home.
The customer experience might be different for Spanish speaking clientele. I've had both friendly service from an older female staff while the younger servers were rude or short/curt. I have enjoyed the products though.
