Absolutely lipsmacking food for all the South Indian food lovers. Was my first visit , definitely not the last. The servers were very friendly and well mannered.Had Madras Masala dosa , mango lassi and Madras Coffee . Everything was tasty
Good place for variety of south India specialities with a different taste and variety of flavors. We ordered a few dishes. Would have liked them more spicy and we did request that but it was not spicy. The dosa was crispy but the masala and sambar did not have much taste It could have been better. Same with the chutneys. But the chilliy idly and paneer chettinaand was very good. Paneer65 was too dry and basically just fried paneer in tempura Batter and some chutney which again did not have much taste.
We were planning to go to another South Indian joint but this caught our eye. The reviews seemed nice so gave this a try. It is a spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Luckily we didn’t have to wait and got a seat immediately. We ordered Medu Vada, Masala Dosa, Special Rava Masala Dosa, Chilli Masala Dosa, Butter Garlic Masala Dosa and Rabdi & Pista Kulfi. This was for four of us.The portion sizes are huge. The taste is really good.Sambar taste was the same as we find in Mumbai. The chutneys were awesome. Price point is ok. The staff is courteous. We really enjoyed the taste.
We visited this restaurant on a weekend. Looked busy and had limited staff. Wait time was quite a bit to get our food and when it came we were disappointed. We ordered paneer 65 and it was just pieces of paneer dipped in tempura and fried, kept on a plate with green onion garnish. There was no taste to it - no spices and curry leaf or any sauce on it. Rava dosa was ok but sambhar had no veggies at all and very very spicy. The server didn’t even care to ask how the food was after serving us. Our major disappointment was paneer 65. When we called for a server to ask her if this is only fried paneer without being tossed in any kind of sauce, she went and got us a little ramekin of green chutney but was actually green chilli purée. Way to spicy for anyone to handle. I would not recommend this place. Overpriced, food not good and service is dull. Not worth your time and money.Funny thing, next day I was just curious and I wanted to try making paneer 65 myself and I made an amazing dish. I fried the paneer in the tempura batter and then I made a sauce with cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, ketchup, chilli sauce and a bit of yogurt. Tossed the fried crunchy paneer in this sauce and voila.. garnished with cilantro.. it was delicious.
Went to this place on a Monday eveningOrdered masala Rawa dosa with cashew and stuff was average not very crispy and couldn’t see any cashewsThen ordered a butter masala dosa was below average overdoneThe sambar was bland and tasteless it actually was missing in flavours was like regular toor dal boiledAsked them for an additional red chutney the server didn’t tell me they charge for it and charged me for itMost ppl don’t charge extra for chutneys these guys do and if you do always a good idea to tell the customer before you charge themDisappointing not coming here again
Do you love South Indian breakfast items like idly, vada, Dosa and varieties? Then this should be your go to place. The place is in a prime location where you have so many other retailers. Place seems to be clean, ( I didn’t dine in because of Covid restrictions and they are closed for dine in), the receptionist was courteous and friendly. The food is very good, we love their breakfast items. Just read the description before you order because a plate of vada is not one but 3 numbers. So you need to read then order how much quantity you want. The special thing that made me Love this place is their batter. They sell their idly and dosa batter for a small price and they are so fresh! I hated buying frozen batter packets from Indian grocery but this option is amazing. We buy idly and dosa batter every 5 days for 11.28$. Our breakfast is done so well and healthy as well because it’s freshly made! Price friendly, no hassle, fresh and buy as you like! Idly comes very soft and dosa comes crispy or soft as you like. This place is pretty new but I love it! Give a try!
First time try Annalakshmi, we went in early for a brunch and the place was empty. Non the less food was fresh and delicious. Tried a bunch of items. Love that the tea does not come with sugar in it by default, unlike other places. The dosas were were crispy and the sambar was fantastic. Will visit again for sure.
Great place for your south indian fix. I ordered the chilli paneer dosa. It was delicious. They give you three chutneys and sambar. I felt the chutneys lacked a little flavour as well as the sambar. But overall the dosa was nice. We ended the night with madras coffee which is a must to have! Great location, beautiful decor and good service. I recommend it!
Should step up their game in terms of overall quality. Coconut chutney was refrigerated and not freshly-prepared.
Their food is absolutely amazing and super delicious! They also take any customer feedback very well and ensures that they implement it next time (which they have for sure!). Great hospitality and very quick in making the food as well!
