The girl at the bar was very friendly and was very quick with the drinks. Great service, they were able to accommodate 7 of us without any reservations. However, the drinks are quite pricey.
We went there for friends birthday. From the beginning we were treated like royalty. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. He came many times to check on us. We ordered scallops and oysters for starters. Both were delicious and done to perfection. Maybe I would hold off on salt. The main courses - rack of lamb, Arctic char and risotto were absolutely delicious and served beautifully. I ordered souvinion blanc with my fish, but it was not the best. The dessert and coffee were perfect. We spend few hours at the restaurant, we felt looked after, amazing service and attentiveness. Thank you to the manager and Miles for making our celebration unforgettable. Will recommend the place to all my foodie friends.
*Never disappoints*This is my second time returning to this restaurant and I'd highly recommend. Incredible customer service, delicious food and, great ambience. It can be pricey depending on what you order but, it's nothing out of the realm of what's expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Don't let the outside surroundings fool you, this place is a hidden gem.
Exceptional restaurant. I experienced 17 Steakhouse for the first time last winter during a business dinner.I returned this time my family to celebrate my son's 21st birthday.My son and I both had Alberta sirloin. Served blue and rare they were cooked to perfection.Asparagus, broccoli, fried calamari and Rissoto were added to the meal.I would return just to eat risotto and nothing else. It is some beyond flavour. It's literally an experience to eat.Our service was second to none. Highly professional and attentive staff. Wonderful presentation and food (look how they did with the lemon to catch the seeds!!) Love the sear scallop and brussels sprout.
This review is from February 11th. Had reservations booked for a party of 8 and when we got there we were given a private room which was very nice!. The only negative I have with this place is that on that date there was water dripping from the ceiling and it was dropping close to where one of our guys were sitting. Obviously out of control from the restaurant, but should definitely take better measures to fix them If you are going to book out the room. The management gave us some complimentary shots on the house so that was nice of them. Food wise everything was amazing. I had the US prime ribeye which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The sides are very big and you can definitely share them with a bunch of people. Since we were celebrating a few birthdays we had some desserts and the creme brule was amazing! Definitely would come back here.
Everything about the experience was exceptional. Amazing ambiance, friendly staff, top quality food, healthy portion sizes. The washrooms were beautiful and clean. Looking forward to the next visit. Would love to hold an event here, there's a second floor for private parties. If you're looking for a beautiful venue, a date night out, or just a place to have a damn good meal...this is it!
Food is nothing short of perfection in every way (including the way it was cooked, temperature and taste). The service was also excellent. Everything we ordered was absolutely tasty. I can’t wait to come back when I’m craving a nice night out to enjoy some good food.
I booked dinner for 2 to celebrate my husbands birthday. We ordered a bottle of wine, appetizer, an entree and an $85 steak sirloin. The food was delicious but as I was sipping on the last 3 oz of wine I had left in my glass I cut my upper lip . My glass had a chip on the top rim. The waitress apologized and came back with 9oz of wine to replace my glass. I did not accept it as I wasn't expecting to be compensated with more wine. The manager came to our table and also apologized and asked if there was anything he can do. We are not people to ask for anything in return but to experience such an incident as today we were hoping the manager would do a much better job to take care of his customers especially after spending $250 . I've managed many restaurants for the past 15 years and these incidents can break a restaurant if not taken care of.I expect someone to reach out to us immediately to resolve this issue.
The atmosphere was great. Beautifully decorated, and choice of music was splendid.The food was good - loved the 8 onz American sirloin. The reason I rate it 4/5 is due to our server being inattentive to us. We also didn’t get any sort of engagement. The experience was literally us ordering, the server asking if the food is ok, and then the bill. Similarly, I didn’t like how many servers, including the bartender, were working maskless. I understand we are at the end of the pandemic but we did feel a little uncomfortable especially when they came to our table and we had our masks off as well.
