This restaurant food is very very nice and testy I give 100+++ rating because they are using 100% fresh wings and bites so I always prefer to eat fresh food and stay safe thanks Wingsup ?
So sad to have to review this. I worked at Wings Up in the early 2000s for years. The food was quality, there was so much pride in ownership. For years after it went through different owners but the quality and product was still there overall. I went a 2-3 years without it over COVID and was super excited to have it again as a treat tonight. Unfortunately I won't go back. The chicken sandwiches had the tiniest piece of chicken on it, barely half the bun. The chicken used to fall out of the bun. The bun was so stale. The chicken dunkers were tiny and overcooked. I had to wait a long time for my order which I ordered online 30 minutes prior and then they discovered they forgot one of the items and had to start cooking it, making the wait even longer. There was hardly any cheese on the garlic bread, which was soggy as well. A place from my past that used to be so amazing has gone way down hill. They should go back to their roots, and bring back quality and value for your money.
Walking into the restaurant I could instantly tell what type of vibe they were going for. The arcade machine along with the seating made it feel like a nice restaurant to sit in and enjoy some wings with a group of friends. The service could have been a bit better, I felt that the man working at the counter was trying to rush me because he was in the middle of a conversation with his friends which I didnt mind that much. My food took about 15 minutes to be served, I feel like it could have been a bit faster if they tried but I wasn’t in a rush. Luckily it was worth the wait. The chicken bites were cooked to near perfection internally; it was juicy and tender with a beautiful mild bbq sauce glaze. My only problem was that the chicken wasn’t as crispy as I was hoping and there just was not as many bites as I expected. Although I did order the regular size for around $11, I did not anticipate such a small serving of chicken. The potato wedges were so crisp, each bite was just pure bliss. They were excellently salted on the exterior but lacked a bit on the insides; without any dipping sauce they were a bit dry. The carrots and celery complimented everything very nicely and tasted nice and fresh. And lastly the buttermilk ranch, what is their not to say about the ranch. Everything was just elevated to another level once it was dipped inside. Overall this was a great meal and I will be returning to this restaurant In the future.
Was very dry and you can feel it is old. I ordered the jumbo wings it was hardly 3 lbs like advertised. Not happy with the food and will never go again.
We ordered last night the honey garlic chicken with Parmesan. They forgot to put Parmesan and when we called them , they want us to go back to their restaurant to pick up the parmesan. Very bad customer service .
Ordered cajun wings and coleslaw. Coleslaw was stale. Wings had uneven coating and chicken is too dry. I paid 30$ on uber eats after offer ( actual price is 45$ ) .
Just ordered the buffalo bites (boneless wings) and mozzarella sticks. Ok, so the bites were over cooked almost burnt. And the sticks didn’t come with the marinara sauce but with what I think was the Thai chilli wing sauce. Not going back. To bad, I used to be a regular customer. Quality has gone down for sure.
I love the sauce and specially the staff is so good , they are so nice . Moreover, the quality of wings is awesome and the honey garlic sauce I just love it , I think everyone try once
Ordered online for New Year's Eve and was told by the system that my pick-up time would be determined when the kitchen confirmed the order. It was confirmed immediately and I was given 35min until my pick-up time. I arrived on time and had to wait an additional 45min. I get it - NYE is a busy night - but the service being given was horrible. Telling customers that have ordered hours, or even a whole day, in advance "What do you want me to do?" is absurd. It's your responsibility as a business owner to be prepared and to be honest with your customers about the timing of their orders. Many customers were told "another 5 or 10 minutes" but then ended up waiting 15 or more. You explained to me that you were using lesser experienced staff to augment your line on the busy night, and I get that, but someone still needs to manage them to success and that wasn't happening. The kitchen was chaos - disorganized and inefficient. The one person calling the orders could barely keep it together. No one was dedicated to expediting to make sure that orders got out in a timely and organized fashion. A few orders (delivery and pick-up) had "one more item still to come" that was purely a result of the entire order not being well organized and expedited. I hope this was a wake-up call for where you need improvements inside the kitchen as it seems other lower ratings you've received (on non-busy nights) point to similar problems. That said, the food was pretty good, but mixed temperatures by the time I got it. The "medium" wings were more sweet than spicy and not a traditional "medium buffalo" spice that you'd expect. The "thai" sauce was great. My "mostly drums" request didn't seem to matter as I got a pretty standard mix of "drums" and "banjos". The "extra crispy" was good.I'd order again, but if the efficiency of the kitchen isn't improved, I won't bother again. Good luck in 2022!
Best wings ever.
