I unfortunately can only give Troy’s 3 stars because we were a bit disappointed in our meal this weekend. We ordered dinner through skip and it was very expensive but we try and support local so we didn’t mind. What we did mind however was the portions, everything we ordered was half empty and considering the prices I was very disappointed. The Alfredo was basically empty and the sides we got were half full as well. Their chipotle sauce was however very delicious and they gave plenty! The milkshakes were good too, just small considering they were $9 each. All in all the food was good, I just wouldn’t want to pay these prices again for the amount of food given unfortunately!
I have to give this diner a 1 star. I wish there was a zero star option. The atmosphere is really nice and they have pretty good food options. The service on the other hand, was horrible. We were seated without menus and happened to be the only people in there at the time. After 10 minutes, we finally asked and were given menus. It took a very long time for the server to come and take our order and she didn’t come and see how the food was. We had to call her over for the bill. Not a good experience.

We just ordered two breakfasts from Troy’s diner and took them to go and they were amazing and delightful and tasty all the way.
Troy's Diner was an amazing family experience. From the pleasant Coca Cola-themed environment, to the polite staff and plethora of available food options, Its definitely a "MUST STOP" if you are anywhere in Southern Ontario. I personally ordered the Phillycheese Steak Hot Dog which is by FAR the best hot dog I've ever eaten. For dessert, I had an Oreo Milkshake and the flavors are unmatched. While eating we witnessed some children recieve what's called the "Mega Milkshake" and it was at least 3ft tall. The kids faces screamed excitement. Thank you for the service, I will definitely be returning soon and referring friends and family as well.
I’ve always had great food and great service every time I have gone to Troy’s. It’s one of the things I look forward to when I go visit Milton!
It is a fun and exciting diner. The food is great. The food is all prepared fresh and hot. The service is friendly. A phenomenal family restaurant. The Coca-Cola theme is everywhere. Oh, and booths that are tributes to Gretzky and Tiger Singh. A huge choice of milkshakes and floats. All you can eat pancakes too. I truly love this place. And you never know who you might run into dining there.
Great diner with really nice retro decor. Service was speedy, efficient, and great even though the waitresses had a table with a group to serve as well.The food was great, had a breakfast plate on a Friday night and it was tasty and just what I liked.
I've been to troys diner twice once in the summer on the patio, that was nice had a milkshake it was fun. But i went yesterday with my 2 year old son. Hasnt eaten in a restaurant before and it went as you would expect but the waitress (wish i knew her name) was lovely she could tell i was tired and she went above and beyond in my opinion to make me and him feel comforted. I dont take someone taking the time out of their day to make someones day better lightly. So a huge thanks to her she was great!! Thank you
Amazing food and atmosphere, my daughter and I go every week and we both love it and missed it so much during the recent lockdown. Troy has a fantastic team , friendly, knowledgeable and always professional, he and his team treats every customer as a friend and are incredibly interactive and welcoming . Easily the best milkshakes around and the farmers sausages are a hidden gem. 11/10 all round , every day and for every staff member.
