The posted time is misleading. It says the restaurant closes at 9 and I tried to place an order at 8:30 and being a regular customer it was really disappointing they would not accept an order when the lady on the phone mentioned 8:30 is the last order. I would recommend being consistent with the closing time is super important.
DONT COME. MIDFood was ok. The waiter added an extra 1. Seriously? We checked our receipt and it said $93 but the monitor said $193. It's very hard to make that mistake, the 1 is so far and is moderately difficult to press. Waiter ignored us despite us raising our hand multiple times, y'all charge for making verbal contact too? Should give us megaphones with the chopsticks. ☠️? Some Asian lady with short hair, wears lipstick. Prolly racist. Other waiter there was chill (I believe she was black and probably around 19) Don't come here. Go to the other sushi restaurants under similar restaurants instead. Food is far too expensive for what you get.
Absolutely adorable small location with fantastic food.The sushi was fresh, well presented, and delicious. More importantly, the staff is super friendly and tentative to the customers.Highly recommend anyone in the area to try the small gem.
Our favourite sushi spot in Milton - it’s super cozy and the food is amazing! We don’t eat sushi anywhere else if we can help it!
Tried this restaurant for lunch. I was in the area and craving sushi so I went solely on reviews when choosing this place. I ordered their green dragon rolls and they were so good. Decent portion size for one, fresh and flavourful. Customer service was great too. Looking forward to going back and trying more with my husband.
Just had dinner at Sushi-Ya Japan, and the food and service was more than excellent!!!We had salmon and butter fish sashimi with veggie tempura to start.The sashimi was soooo fresh and the tempura was piping hot and crisp, delicious!I had the dragon green roll and hubby had the beef upon stir-fry.We were so lucky we scored a table this is THE best place for sushi in Milton. Quality is top notch the servers are delightful and personable.
Sushi-Ya never disappoints! Incredible Sashimi, Maki and House Rolls from what we've tried. We've never not enjoyed what we have ordered. Grateful to have this little gem in the heart of Milton.
The worst experience in customer service ever. We have been going for 10 years and have been dedicated customers, we asked for the medium Sushi tray to replace the snapper fish with clam and they gave us 16 pieces of Salmon. Waaa? This was the second experience and we thought we would give them another chance. Their attitude was so bad when I brought the sushi back that i got my money back and they had such an attitude i will never go back. The worst experience ever. Shame on them!!!
I have tried most sushi places in Milton, and nothing comes close to this restaurant. The sushi is always super fresh and the staff is always nice and helpful. The wait is never super crazy, even if they are back up. I am in love with their spicy salmon rolls and yam rolls.
In and out is quick if you are picking up. Sushi was good and fresh. Would try other items on the menu as well.
