I was getting another food order near this place and wanted to get a Shawarma after from another location. As I was standing outside for my other order to be ready I realized I'm standing outside of a place that also offers shawarmas so I said I'll give it a shot and see how it is. I loved the customer service as it was on point (honest, not fake) and when I got home and tried the food it was awesome. The taste hits the spot and this is now my go-to place for Shawarmas. Might try some other items on the menu next time as well.
Awesome, best food. Ordered the chicken souvlaki meal that comes with a huge portion of flavored rice, potatoes, good sized Mediterranean salad (with feta and real olives), a whole pita bread cut into 4 pieces, a small individual portion of white sauce (tzatziki I think) and individual portion of what I think is flavoured olive oil drizzle that I used on everything because it was so delicious!The chicken souvlaki was done to absolute barbecue perfection - large very very tender juicy perfectly seasoned pieces of perfectly grilled meat. The potatoes have this amazing light hint of lemon combined with a savoury seasoning, and they were perfecectly seasoned and cooked. The rice was amazingly delicious.The service and casual atmosphere was as wonderful as the food. They are really really nice people who tried to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and were very attentive to me. Very organized. The people at Koozina and especially the chef get an A+++++ from me.Definitely going back for more.
I ordered from here using Skip. I’ve never actually been here so I can’t tell you how customer service is or cleanliness. I’m also going to admit that I’ve only ordered the chicken souvlaki wrap from here. It might be one of the best chicken souvlaki wraps I’ve ever had. It’s simple yet delicious. Pita, chicken, tzatziki, onion. 4 ingredients. Just writing about it has my mouth watering. Only downside is onion breath but if that’s the cost of admission, I love the show.
I used to recommend this place to everyone who wanted to try shawarma. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has been going downhill over the years. I chalked it up to not seeing the same staff (maybe they are training new employees, growing pains, etc.) but now the quality of their service is also poor. I recently ordered two chicken shawarma on rice and they didn't even put any napkins or cutlery in the bag. I called them to rectify the issue and the lady who took my order said "you didn't ask for cutlery"... So now it's my (the customer's) fault that I don't have cutlery or napkins. Go to any restaurant that offers take out and they'll either ask or just provide utensils, it's standard practice. The food was bland, there was a glob of some kind of sauce (not sure exactly what since it was also flavourless) right in the middle. There was so much water in the food, I'm guessing they didn't drain the rice properly, the green peas were uncooked and hard. I cannot believe how bland and dry the chicken was, we had to throw it out and order food from elsewhere. Are they just reheating frozen food? What's going on? Where is the quality of food and service that I wrote about several years ago? I don't recommend this place and won't be ordering here from now on.
Had the Gyro dinner which was a huge portion and delicious. Amazing service and food. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Really recommending it and coming back to try other options.
Always saw this place but never bothered to try it. I am so over these nasty Shawarma chains... especially being Middle Eastern, I'm shocked at the choices we have in Milton. Thank God, I gave this place a chance...the spices are authentic and the food is clean and reasonably priced. Love it here!
The freshest most delicious food I've had. The owners are also so kind and generous mashAllah. We ordered: Shawarmah on the rocks (rice) a chicken platter, lamb shank, beef kabob and a Gyro plate. Everything tasted freshly made from the salad to the meat. Also their fries are delicious! I live in Kitchener but happened to be in Milton and glad I found Koozina, definitely going back inshAllah!
Not as great as expected… forgot what i ordered but the picture had a shawarma on it but when i got the food it had rice instead… love the staff tho but the place needs renovations!
Fake 5 star reviews! This place made me so sick and I have started a complaint to have them shut down! Avoid eating here at all costs!!
Best falafel I ever taste in North America, must taste the fries and feta cheese, excellent food and service
