Like someone else said, don't judge a book by its cover. I've been to many top knotch sushi places looking for good Maki rolls. I can't speak on the quality of the sushi because I only ordered Maki, but the Maki rolls are those flavour bursting types that make your mouth water. The crunch is on point and the rolls are the perfect size. 10/10 for flavor
I got Haddock fish n chips. The fish was an old piece that was cooked strangely. Sent this photo to my friends and they laughed and said it looked like cardboard. Tasted like it too. Chips were also bad, soggy, and flavourless. All I could taste was oil.
Fantastic sushi, our first time trying Sushi Yama and were pleasantly surprised. The quality and taste is amazing and very well presented.
The best place for sushi in Milton. I ordered a classic california roll and a dynamite roll and both were thick with filling and incredibly fresh and delicious. You HAVE to try this place!
I was skeptical at first as it’s not common to see a fish and chips place and sushi place but the sushi was great! If there is one thing I would change is just the way the maki was made, it was a bit too big (which could be a good thing for those looking for quantity). I do love how generous they are and you can see that in the photos.
We walked in to order sushi from Sushi Yama. Ordered Spicy salmon roll and Black Dragon roll. Waited 20 minutes and it was ready. Fresh and delicious!
Great sushi! Very fresh! Awesome! A little bit of a wait because they were very busy but they were very friendly and apologetic about it and it was so worth it. We will be coming back and the fact that we can get fish and chips for the family member who is not a sushi addict is just icing on the cake.
Wow. Found a hidden gem right here. I live in Toronto so it sucks that I cannot come here more often! Both fish & chips and sushi were the best I have tasted, even considering the places I have been to in Toronto!When we pass by Milton we are definitely stopping at this place again!!!
Best place so far I have found for Fish and Chips in Milton. The fish and fries are hot and tasty. Old style chips. Many other seafood items also. Plenty of parking. Lunch time specials. Seems like a popular spot.
Get takeout tonight and it was still fresh and yummy!
