i was visiting here with my family on hannukah and they called my grandmother and grandfather the "k" slur!! will never dine here again!!! orange chicken was very good
Worst Chinese food ever! Please go to the best Chinese in Milton, that's " Royal Garden"!Gold city food is so bad and bland. No salt, no spice.#1.The chowmein was just saltless boiled noodles and boiled vegetables full of hugely cut bell peppers. #2. The fried rice was tasteless#3. Beef was edible but loaded with hugely chopped bland bell peppers.#4. Orange chicken ( or whatever it was) was rubbery and bland. One of the worst Chinese food we ever tasted and didn't serve plain steamed rice with entrees as promised and paid. Never ever try again or recommend anyone!
Of all the Chinese restaurants in Milton, it's Gold City that I enjoy the most. Everytime I try others and I find myself wishing I had ordered from Gold City.
Been coming here for 20+ years. Always quality. Best won ton soup!
I been a fan for many years but the dinner I had today was overly salty and heavy with oil. I do hope the taste will revert to their original recipe
I cannot believe all the raving reviews! It seems to me an average person has no idea what a decent westernized Chinese food take out tastes like! This restaurant offers friendly service, timely and hot meals but the food has no taste or flavour; you are essentially getting an average quality Chinese food you’d get in any food court.
Just picked up fried rice, general tso chicken, fried noodle and beef with black bean sauce. WORST FOOD EVER. I've paid 55 dollar for these foods, and portion are tiny and the noodle is extremely cooked (I can't pick them up). I want my money back!!!!!
The chicken chow mein is not a chow mein... It's a beansprout side dish... there was no noodles at all.... 0/10
The price of this shop is much more expensive than that in the same district, the taste is also average, it is not worth the high score, and the service attitude is not good...
I've been going to Gold City ever since I can remember, maybe 20 years? It has always been incredible. Even though I've moved farther away, I still make the drive as nothing really compares!
