Came by to have a small bite to eat. This was my first time here sitting in here but I've had their conger before for take out a while ago. We ordered the Chinese version of doughnut with rice noodles roll and beef brisket low mein. Both tasted great and because I was not too hungry, it hit the spot so I can wait for dinner. We also had a HK style frozen milk tea... it's not served in any places like this, it preserves the taste/flavor of the milk tea without deluding it with ice water...
Food was too expensive. The 艇仔粥 (seafood congee) had more Cha Siu than actual seafood which was really suprising. Considering that this is a seafood congee, and there's more meat than seafood, this was unacceptable. The 廣東炸兩 quantity had been drastically reduced for an even higher price compared to the past.At this increased price, going to Dim Sum behind the restaurant is more economical.
Cheap, but delicious eats. Better rice rolls than dim sum spots in the city. Staff a lot friendlier than what you would expect at these types of restaurants typically. Place is pretty clean too as everything is served with disposables. Food gets served incredibly fast as well. The rice rolls have great texture and have a good amount of filling. The congee is piping hot with a generous amount of toppings. The hot sauce has a nice flavour to it too, not spicy per say but fragrant.
The cold served fish skin is really good, rarely do I find a place that serve this dish. The congee was full of fresh ingredients and I would visit again.
The best rice rolls in town. The rice rolls were smooth and thin. Lots of choices for the stuffing. Pork liver was very good, cooked just right. The shrimp was pretty good as well. My friends ordered the pork kidney and fish. They were very happy with their dishes. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant has stopped using reusable washable cutlery and tableware even for dining in. It's unnecessarily bad for the environment.
They check your temperature at the door - reassuring extra safety measure for dining in! Portions seem more generous than the downtown location where I usually eat 2 different rice roll dishes for lunch. Here, I was full after one and packed the entire bowl of pork congee for later. Service was efficient, courteous and attentive.
Quality of the congee and rice roll are very good. The skin of the rice rolls are thin and they are very crispy, and yet chewy. We had the chive with beef rice roll, we also had chive with duck meat rice roll. Both are very good. The restaurant follows COVID protocols, they checked for proof of vaccination, and they clean the tables after each customer left. Will definitely go back again.
Went my first time this past Thursday, Nov. 11th with a family member. The food was really good. Ordered deep fried fish skin; rice roll with beef, shrimp and chives; fried doughnut and congee with pork slices, liver and kidney. I did not expect the pork in the congee to taste so good. It was fresh. The congee was also very good. Price was good and service was great. *Note: beware of the photos on the menu. They may not be as depicted.

Haven’t had fresh steam rice noodles for a while so we came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. The restaurant is about to get busy, it’s clean and the staffs check our vaccine records and photo ID,all good until the food arrived. The rice noodles are served on styrofoam plates, hot congee is served in a thin plastic container, and of course the cutlery provided is all disposal ones. It feels like eating in a food court. Food was ok, but I won’t go back for sure!
