This was my first time here and I liked it alot. The food felt very comforting. I ordered bone-in chicken on rice and beef on hand-pulled noodle. For takeout, the noodle does get a bit greasy as the braised beef was added on top. Flavours were great.

Good portion size at a value price. For 9.99 you get a decent serving of braised chicken and rice combo. The meat is well-flavoured and the broth is so tasty! Very satisfying comfort meal on a cold evening ???

I didn't know they were a famous chain worldwide when I googled them. They have quite a number of restaurants in the USA. The restaurant is also known as " One Pot Wonder "Yang's serves mainly braised chicken. There are three options for the chicken:-non spicy-signature taste (which is slightly spicy)-spicyThe braised chicken comes with rice (the rice is of low quality). You can also request for more sauce when placing your order.For $7.99, you can get the Boned in Chicken versus $9.99 which is he boneless chicken. To me, the chicken was just as tender and yummy, with or without bones. Therefore, to avoid biting into bones while eating, I said go with the boneless version for $2 more. Also, I love that it isn't white meat.There are also a few appetizers on the menu as the popcorn chicken and the takoyaki balls. Both were delicious. Options for add on to the chicken is also available at a surcharge such as extra veggies.Staff speaks Cantonese/Mandarin and English. This place does tons of of takeouts - not sure if there are some specials online or with those delivery companies as I kept seeing drivers coming in to pick up the food.
The noodles and boneless chicken (mild) is absolutely amazing. This has become a regular lunch spot for myself and my coworkers in Markham.
Great authentic braised chicken, tried the dry noodle variant this time and had no regrets. Highly recommend, delicious food and great value.
The braised chicken rice is no longer that great as its grand opening. Don't know what happened. It still tastes ok, not bad.
