First Whole Foods I've visited. It's a pricier store and not crowded inside. Relaxing atmosphere for shopping. If you're health conscious, like to shop local, have a special diet, etc. there's great variety. Some foods come in smaller portions to avoid waste.I find the best offerings for quality and value are the fresh baked breads, cake, and Parmesan cheese.
This location has served Unionville and the surrounding area of Markham for several years and emphasizes its local product offerings. The location is compact, although still seems rather spacious. Service counters and checkouts are not always staffed (wish there were self-checkouts) but are appropriate for the rather light demand compared to regular grocery stores. Otherwise, anyone who visits a few times will appreciate the environment and make it a regular shopping destination.
I love wholefood selection and the mix veggies plus protein all you can put in a bowl is one of the best features of Wholefood. However unfortunately every time they cook the veggies too long and food become soft and chewy instead of fresh and crisp. The idea is great and the food could have tastes better had it not been cooked too long.

Clean and lot of great choice and little pricy. I got my son Marconi for take out cost me $20???what? my son like it maybe is real cheese ???love their floral place and the bakery place. So... Good. ???Clean and they have emergency wash room??? I like to shop there once awhile other my wallet?? will be empty super fast???
Their Christmas catering set menu is always up to standard! Amazing food quality! We always enjoy it so much!
Love the convenience of this Whole Foods location. The store is bright and clean and the staff is always around to help if you need any. Took a star off because prices are considerably higher than other stores.
They knowing sell spoiled groceries. We returned 5 packs of vegan cheese with same expiry dates (same batch) which still had 2 months left, because all of them had mold and fungus growing inside. We opened 2 more at the store from same batch/expiry dates and they had fungus growing as well. The customer service employee apologized and said they would remove them from the shelves. Next time I was there the same cheese batch and same expiry date were still there but discounted. This isn't the first time we have experienced issues like this.This is shameful, knowing selling spoiled food to customers is unacceptable. The management at this location needs to change.Also if you plan to buy groceries here, you must check the expiry dates before purchasing. We have bought several products that had already been expired or the best before date had passed by 2-3 months, no surprise there. Returning is a hassle if you don't have your receipt. You can go to their shelf and show the expired products on their own shelf and still won't get a refund if you don't have receipt.
Excellent bakery and lactose free! This is my third purchase from wholefoods Unionville area. Marianna is the best! The service and talented staff here have made me a return client for birthday or special events!I am lactose intolerant and the wholefoods here in Markham create beautiful cakes by a very talented and kind lady MariannaShe created this cake and it was three tier vanilla and chocolate. I purchased it for my bday earlier this week Jan 2022! It was delicious! I strongly recommend this location wholefoods if you don't want to be impressed!
