I came tonight at 9:45pm and was told by the employee that they close at 10:00pm and would therefore not be able to make my order. I have gone to many other bubble tea shops that offer service until closing, so I was very disappointed that even with 15mins to spare, Urban Cova refused service. It wasn’t like there were other customers there either (I was the only one). Needless to say, a negative experience!

Love their fruit teas - super light & refreshing but wait times can be a bit long. There are 2 floors with super cute furniture.

Way too expensive for low quality bubble tea. They should take it easy with the ice and give a fair amount of what we pay for. I stopped going here when I realized I was paying $10 a drink for sugar water. There are so many better BBT places that also use real fruit.

Great drinks and lots of selections! We love the fruit teas and slushies here! They also started carrying waffle dogs!Follow me on Instagram @maggielicious.to for more food adventures

The fruit tea I got was super delicious and refreshing. I would come here more often but it’s more expensive than other drink places.

the best customer service i have ever had, the fries are so good but sadly it got discontinued. The drinks and hotdogs are so amazing this is the number one place i would go to, and bring all my friends here

Urban Cova (the locally rebranded Yo Tea) focuses on handcrafted drinks with quality sommelier-tested teas and fresh ingredients. Plenty of seating including on the spacious 2nd floor (not currently open), as well as onsite parking. The Sapphire Fruit Tea had mango, watermelon, honeydew, lime & sapphire oolong tea (which was definitely prominent). I requested 50% sweetness but probably could have gone with 30% sugar level as the fruit added to the overall sweetness. Enjoyed the hot jasmine lychee tea green (which comes with pieces of grapefruit, lychee, and coconut jelly). The corn dog was pretty standard, with a slightly crunchy yet fluffy waffle coating. The staff helping me was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back to try more of the delicious sounding drinks.

I really enjoyed the Mango Tango ... a slush with fresh diced mango and grapefruit, sago, coconut milk and jasmine tea. It's so refreshing and loved this combination.I also like their Signature Fruit Teas with large chunks of fresh fruit. The Corn Dog Waffle was delicious. I enjoyed the waffle around the hot dog. It had a nice texture that's crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. They offered various sauces but I opted to eat it plain. It really makes a great snack and goes down well with my drink.I also like the unique location of this place which is inside a historical house. Really loved the seating area in a cosy warm ambiance. Please follow me for more food adventures on Instagram hungry.jo

It's my first time learning about Urban Cova via Yelp. The place is located behind Dairy Queen and Subway so some may enter the wrong plaza like I did but it wasn't hard to find as there was a Urban Cova signage on the street side billboard. It is inside a cute heritage house with rustic decor. We were greeted immediately as we entered and serviced right after the customer before us. I was recommended the fruit tea collection after telling her I love fruit teas. So I selected the Golden Paradise and a waffle dog, loaded with mustard, ketchup, mayo and their special jalapeño sauce, which my SO enjoyed but found the special sauce to taste similar to siracha sauce mixed with mayo. There was no significant difference in the taste and it could've just been named jalapeño sauce for the hype. The fruit tea taste was no different from most fruit teas I've had with other bubble tea chains. The oolong tea was very light so the fruits were winning over the tea's aromatic properties.Would I come back? Probably not, as it didn't really stand out to me but it was a pleasant first visit for the experience and photo ops inside the dining area.

Tucked in the back behind Diary Queen on Kennedy Road off of 14th inside the Benjamin Millikan house, is the rebranded YoTea now known as Urban Cova. They offer a wide range of speciality tea drinks, from fruit teas to slushes to milk tea. They also offer snacks such as their popular corndogs, fries, fish balls and more. The place is very spacious, with two floors and plenty of tables and chairs. This would be a good study spot or to just hang with friends. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to try their popular fruit tea the Mon Amour and the corn dog. I also purchased the Pink Rose Tea Latte.[Mon Amour Fruit Tea] - Black tea base with mango, watermelon, honeydew and lemon pieces inside. I got regular sugar and it was a little too sour for my liking. It had a good blend of tea and fruit though. I have more of a sweet tooth so this wasn't for me.[Pink Rose Tea Latte] - I ordered half sweet for this but it was really sweet. I had to double look at my order to make sure I ordered 50% sugar. Not complaining though because I really enjoyed this drink with the sweetness. So I recommend getting lower sugar level if you're not a fan of sweet. This had a perfect aroma of rose and a light blend of tea. Overall I really enjoyed this drink and would definitely come back to order again.[Corndog with sauce] - I really enjoyed these corn dogs, you can order them with or without sauce. With sauce you get to choose at the end between, ketchup, mayo, jalapeño mayo and mustard. The batter is very different from the classic western corndog and also different from the Korean corndog. Think of this batter as like the egg waffle batter just not as sweet. I like that the batter isn't has thick coated as well. It was a nice batter that wasn't too think but also wasn't too thick either. I got one with mayo and ketchup and one with ketchup and jalapeño for the hubby. My hubby said the jalapeño wasn't spicy though.
