I buy frozen dumpling occasionally from this booth. I recently bought the cabbage pork dumpling, when I opened the bag at home, I can smell the deep fried oil all around the frozen dumplings, I guess the poor ventilation in that tiny kitchen doesn’t matter as it shouldn’t affect the taste. The cooked dumpling itself is a little on the salty side, but I like the proportion of the ingredients and not much msg used, price is reasonable too
I ordered the panfried dumplings and green onion pancakes. The dumplings are large, and the wrapper is really thick. flavour and price point are good. Can't wait to try their other menu items.
Was originally going to give 3 stars as I thought the food was mediocre and the price is a little high for what you’re getting. However, as I was about to finish the black bean sauce noodle I ordered, I noticed what seemed to look like a cockroach cut in half….disgusting
Got the zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste & minced pork). There was just enough sauce & a good umami meaty taste.
May not be the best in customer service (especially if you don’t speak Chinese), but their dumplings are delicious. Not skimp with the fillings, portions, and price quite reasonable.
I'd give this place ZERO stars if I could. The food is not terrible, but the woman taking the order at the front is.I saw another review on yelp that shared the same awful experience. She seems to have a bad habit of treating customers very badly at the end of the day (8 pm).My mother wanted something to eat (after leaving the hospital, loosing her husband of 50 years). She had a combo option that we asked for but wasn't available. Instead of politely telling us it was sold out, she scoffed and laughed in her native Mandarin to the chef inside "Ha! They want the combo" As if how dare we asked for something she had on her menu while her shop was still open.Even if her food was good (it's passable, it's not the greatest tasting bun you'll ever consume) I would not give this woman any opportunity to my hard earned cash. Disgusting attitude. There are other vendors out there with better quality that will serve you with appreciation.
Been eating here since I was 10 and will keep going. Best dumplings and bing so far
I love this family based restaurant. All the items on their menu are typical Tianjin food which I’ve had tried many years ago when I was visiting that city. Highly recommend their wonton soup, fillings are juicy yummy with tender texture, soup taste great too! Dumplings(the one with leek inside) are awesome! Couldn’t believe I finish them all. The handsome owner is nice and friendly:D
Especially good place, always eat their things here, there are seven kinds of Buns, dumplings have three, each is so delicious, impeccable! Other snacks and various kinds of noodles are also quite good, thank you, I will always eat this food!
Always enjoy the food here! Great place to pick up dumplings like Xiao Long Bao in a food court setting.
