We ordered the calamari and chicken satay. Our expectation was this would be a Thandoor (oven based) dish flavour, however, to our surprise it’s was the regular fried calamari and some pieces of chicken. Below par in taste, quality and quantity. There are several better options in Richmond hill and Scarborough. This maybe an option for folks who are getting introduced to Indian food, but by no means a good option for someone who eats Indian food regularly (and expects a certain level of flavour).
I was searching for Authentic Butter Chicken Restaurants and I came across this restaurant in Markham. I tried the Butter Chicken Bowl with Salad. This is the first time trying Butter Chicken and I can say I love the overally taste and mixture with the Rice. The Butter Chicken is flavorful with abit of a kick and mixing with the Rice makes it much better. I truly love this restaurant and will return to try the Butter Chicken again because it was the best butter chicken I tried. For anybody near this area in Markham it is a must.

In the photo is the Thandur Chicken Skillet with half rice and half fries which is a special request I asked for. I also get the mango shake everytime even though it is a little expensive because I want to support this restaurant for it's amazing dishes and services! The shake is also just delicious as well.

We had an amazing dinner at The Thandur. The dishes were amazing and so flavourful. The staff were exceptional and so accommodating with any of our requests. We really enjoyed the ambiance and its a great spot to hang out with friends. We will definitely be back
we love it here! the food is always delicious and the portions are super generous, the staff are so pleasant, and the presentation is great even as takeout. plus the biryani comes with a great yogurt salad :)
We haven't had the chance to experience too many items from their menu. But everything we have had so far is amazing for great value!! So amazing. Keep up the good work there
