Halal meat section is not good at all but other stuffs are good. The employees of halal meat section is very rude, management should take care of it.
Decent variety of grocery items.Would be nice if the store was cleaner and had better lighting.The prices of few items that were on sale were much better than other stores. However, for items not on sale, the prices were higher than most stores.
One of the worst place to buy things, no consideration for customer and all the prices are not reasonable. Same stuff is bit less when you buy it from Jian hing store which is just across the street. I got all the thing in the basket and at the checkout I had bad experience with their policies, they doesn’t make sense at all. I am not visiting here, I’ll take extra effort to go to Jian store at Markham rd.
Difficult store to shop at - - only the cashiers speak English, the meat department guys are frustrating and never understand what one is asking them for. Sign language can only go so far. Additionally, they display a brash and rude energy. The fish department guys are much kinder. Why doesn't the fish smell like fish though?? Hmmm. **/*****
Our preferred store in Scarborough when buying asian food/items. They have wide variety of products and foods to chose from. Prices are reasonable, from asian snacks, meats and veggies. Definitely worth the visit.
Great selection of veggies. Interesting unusal products. Deli on site offering asian food.Nice garden centre out front. But was approached twice by people wanting money. This often happens at this location.
Love this market!! Their fish and meats are top rank, and their veg and fruit always fresh. Unfortunately, most general grocery items are expensive, which limits our weekly shopping to the meat/fish and vegetable/fruit specials. Very clean store and check out staff are super efficient.
Skyland can be very busy on the weekends. There's a wonderful variety of produce/ products from around the globe. That being said, we look for sales as we want to try the less common produce/ products found in most grocery chains. Cashiers are helpful.
The place is usually very clean and organized. You can get most of your groceries there. The lines are not too long. The staff is always going around stocking up and organizing.
It is a good place for Chinese, Caribbean, indian cuisine. Halal meat is also available. But this place smells bad, I don't know why. They close early everyday. They have a fried chicken outlet inside the shop.
