Lattes and sesame French toast are excellent.
First time here. Portions disappointing for the price. I honestly didn't even care that the space was shared with a salon but I left hungry after paying 20 bucks for essentially what was mostly a salad. The taste of the eggs benny was somewhat above average but nothing special, especially considering the upcharge just to get a topping for it, which I opted not to get since I didn't expect the base dish to be so plain and stingy. If it weren't for the courteous staff this probably would've been a one star review.
Oh man the breakfast here is just great! The okonomiyaki grilled cheese is my personal favourite. On top of the great food though the establishment is run by some very great people and the service is fantastic. Looking forward to returning soon!
This was a surprising treat! The hojicha latte came in a large cup and was very nice (not to mention the presentation of it). My favourite was the eggs benedict. The biscuit combined with the yuzu sauce and the beautifully cooked egg was a flavour masterpiece - absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend. The mochi pancake was good as well but it was really the cream that made it awesome. I would highly recommend this place. The only downside is that it is a bit pricy given the quantity of food but the quality made me not feel too bad about it.
Simple but delicious food! Most of the menu items are not very fancy, but they have a subtle Asian flair - milk bread toast, Japanese potato salad, onsen egg. Same with their drink selection - hojicha latte, black sesame latte, etc. Our server was also very friendly - she recommended that we make a reservation next time. We came on a Sunday morning, at around 10am, and got a table easily, but apparently it's usually packed at this time.
we didn’t make a reservation although i would’ve if i had know they offered it online (while many don’t)! they still were able to sit us. we got eggs benny with pea meal bacon and omelette with a generous portion of mushrooms. i personally didn’t really get the japanese inspired part but it was still well priced!
Awesome Japanese fusion branch spot in the area, though make sure that you make a reservation. The interior is nice and the staff are very friendly.I ordered the Egg Rengoku which is basically the Egg in Purgatory (Rengoku = Purgatory in Japanese). I love shakshuka so I was expecting it to be more solid, but it is both delicious and delightful. The toast is on point too. The Lavender Oat Latte is very calming and relaxing, and I would definitely suggest it if you want to take any caffeine.
Friendly customer service and very relaxing atmosphere. Tasty brunch food.
We didn't make reservations but got seated pretty quickly outside. The seats weren't as comfortable as we would have liked but glad they had an umbrella. We had a male server that was not attentive. It took him a long time to come and get our order, the food took even longer to come out and he never came to check on us or our drinks. We actually had to wave him down to get the bill. When he put down the plate of Egg Benedict the egg slipped off...Service/Experience - 2/5Yuzu Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon - they charged $3.50 for one (per English muffin) very thin slice. That was really disappointing. It was good but nothing special. Portions were very small for what it is. 3/5Mochi Pancake - the jam and the fresh strawberries didn't go well to me but that's personal taste. I really didn't think these pancakes tasted good. It didn't have a mochi consistency and no flavour. It was very very very bland and the outside part of the pancake was soooo crunchy and had a grill taste and smell to it that was very unpleasant. 1/5Edit: also forgot to add that the two dishes we ordered arrived at least 5 minutes apart. One got cold by the time the other arrived.
Loved the meal here, especially the mochi pancakes & kabocha latte! The food is just as yummy as it is beautiful!
