My favourite dessert spot in Markham. Their bubble waffle ice cream is amazing and their matcha latte is as good as it gets!Very aesthetic spot with some cool decorative walls, an overall beautiful spot.The staff were super kind and were very quick to get my order to me. Definitely recommend trying this spot
Matcha latte with soy was a little thin, with quite a strong green tea flavour (it was a bit bitter). There was some powder at bottom so it was evidence it was made with real green tea powder.
Monster cookie ice cream was good: rich, with Oreos, M&Ms & a blue icing ribbon.
Cinnamon waffle pretty good, nice cinnamon flavour. Quite light & fluffy though it could be richer. It was the shape of a Hong Kong egg waffle but the batter was different - not as eggy or rich.
They have a wide range of flavours (including vegan) for their bubble waffles and ice cream! omg the names for their boozy ice cream flavours are just sooo unique! ?They also offer beverages from coffee to their reign signatures ? this is def THE spot to check out for boozy desserts and refreshing drinks!Check out my IG page @kellychows for more! ?

4.5 starsIt was a VERY busy Sunday afternoon at Reign Dessert! We came mid-afternoon and there was only 1 employee working. I didn't get the employee's name. She deserves some kind of recognition from the owners for working so hard while being friendly and accommodating. We could see a few groups of customers waiting for their orders before we even spoke to her. When she finished an order she took ours. I got the ube egg waffle with moose tracks ice cream and a butterfly pea flower lemonade. I didn't keep track of time but it was quite the wait for the dessert and drink.The lemonade was so pretty with all the different colours. It wasn't too sweet or too sour. It was a perfect mix of the two tastes. I'd recommend drinking this before digging into the ice cream since the sweetness from the ice cream renders the lemonade a bit tasteless afterward. The ube flavour wasn't present in the egg waffle. It did taste different from an original egg waffle but I wouldn't have been able to identify it as ube without knowing beforehand. The moose tracks ice cream was sweet but it had bits of fudge and peanut butter cups spread throughout. It wasn't the easiest to eat with a plastic spoon. The cold ice cream and egg waffle didn't yield much to the plastic spoon.
A super cute instagram worthy dessert cafe located in Markham. They offer a lot of different flavour bubble waffles, ice cream, drinks and even boozy ice cream. Thanks to YELP I was able to try their butterfly lemonade along with the Reign OG bubble waffle and strawberry ice cream. The lemonade tasted as beautiful as it looked. I am usually not a fan of lemonade as it's a bit too sour for me, however their butterfly lemonade has the perfect amount of sourness for me. It had the lemon but it wasn't over powering in sourness. The sweetness balanced the sour well. The ice cream as waffle was our favourite though. Bubble waffle made fresh to order, so it's nice, warm and crispy but still soft with a bounce. The strawberry ice cream reminded me of strawberry cheesecake ice cream flavour. Had little bits in it which was a nice touch in texture. The hint of strawberry was good without tasting so artificial. They also offer monthly drinks, currently they offer 3 different holiday drinks. I will definitely be back to try the other flavour waffles and ice cream. Service here was great as well, the girl was super friendly.
Reign Dessert Cafe has been open since August 2021. I've been eyeing this café for several months now since seeing some of their very Instaworthy waffles and ice cream pictures on IG. They specialize in waffles and ice cream (including boozy ice creams), and drinks including lattes, iced teas and affogatto.We got the milk tea waffle, vanilla toffee ice cream, and matcha latte with oat milk. I appreciate the plant based options for soy, almond and oat milk with my latte.The waffle was hot with crisped edges. There was a subtle sweetness but mild milk tea flavour to the waffle. The ice cream itself had a nice pull and texture. I appreciated the basic vanilla ice cream as a vehicle for the chocolate toffee chips which added a bit of sweetness and texture. My oat milk matcha latte was smooth and creamy and unsweetened. The matcha flavour was noticeably bitter which I am okay with but others may prefer a slightly sweeter matcha latte.Service was a bit slow but staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend checking them out.
