While I always find their chicken tasty, I found the portion size of the fries quite small. I could hear the front line staff asking for more fries from the cook staff,.. so I'm guessing I just got whatever was available at that moment vs having me wait longer for more fries (?). It was during Saturday dinner rush . And the front line seemed rather frazzled. They kept checking and double checking the food they were putting into the bag for me. Like they weren't sure about the orderThe drinks were also lacking fizziness. I got sprite, but it was just syrup and water.Again, the actual chicken was delicious, but I wasn't confident in the service provided.
This has to be the WORST Popeyes ever! I will be reporting to head office. The chicken was rank and the oil smelled like fish. Management clearly doesn't care! I will be pursuing a refund. Disgusting, we had to throw the food away. We eat a lot of popeyes too so we know what Popeye's standards are.
I ordered the three piece chicken combo. Two pieces of chicken were too small. I understand due to inflation you may have to make decisions to stay profitable. However, either you inform customers or increase your price to provide the same standard sizes you were providing. This is just outright unethical and fraud.
Forget give me Rg fries with 4 pic combo.
I ordered the bucket and it came with no cole slaw and I swear the grease was dripping like anything. I swear to god do not go this KFC location, It is the worse ever
Been visiting this location for 3+ years. Fried chicken has been consistently fresh and delicious. The owner is present often and I can tell these guys change the oil a lot as it tastes fresh.I would say this location is one the best ran Popeyes locations in Markham.
I would recommend Popeyes if you’re a junk fan. These are easy and lite enough for a snack. For me, Popeyes is a yes if it’s 3 a.m and you’re in the middle of a monopoly game. It’s a good choice!
The chicken wings I got today are not fresh, smells like fish.tastes bad.
Rank chicken. No flavor in side. The owners seem cheap and charge for honey do would not surprise me if the cut corners on the poultry and seasoning. This location needs to step their game up
I’ve stopped myself from leaving a bad review on three occasions prior to today only because the owner is a very nice gentleman . However, this has become one of the worst Popeyes in Markham. Every time I go here, I have to wait 10-15 minutes. You’d expect the chickens and fries will be fresh, but even after 15 minutes of waiting you’ll still get stale chicken and stale fries. Why make someone wait that long? Because the staff is busy chatting in the back, or they’ll make you wait on fries, while the chicken strips will cold and stale. It’s terrible here.
