Ordered the summer special - although the drink itself was very good I was not impressed with how it was filled to the brim with ice, to the point that I could barely put the straw in. When I took this picture it had already melted quite a bit, but there was still a ton of ice. Combined with the fact that the cups are small, it feels like I purchased ice with a bit of drink mixed in. Still giving 2 stars because I actually did enjoy the drink the short while it lasted.Edited with reply to owner:Thanks for your reply. No I was not asked. Although offering me the “less ice” option certainly would have helped, in my opinion the default option really should not be to tightly pack the cup to the brim with ice. We both know that no one intentionally orders their drink like that, so to me it seemed a bit dishonest.
NO I'M NOT A STAFF MEMBER WRITING THIS....This little hidden, off the street gem, is the ONLY coffee shop we are going to get our coffee and tea from!!!! The iced coffee is THE VERY BEST in all the land and I'm sure if the iced coffee is this delicious, the hot coffee must be superior as well. The staff is beyond welcoming as soon as you walk in, and you feel like you're at home because they take really good care of your order, making sure your beverage is made to perfection!!!!We come to Unionville on the weekends, and we are now making sure this is our very first stop before we explore the shops and pond. I'm drooling right now thinking about their delicious iced coffee and London Fog tea that we ordered on both Saturday and Sunday!!!! We seriously can't wait for next weekend!!!!A little gem that shines very, very brightly!!!!! Class act business!!!!!!
Pod coffee has by far the best tasting and most consistent coffee I’ve tried in GTA. Their equipment is top notch and Olivia and her staff really pay attention to the details of coffee making. The store always carries specialty coffee beans from various roasters (both local and international) and there are seasonal menu items as well.No indoor seating but there is a cute and private outdoor courtyard with chairs that’s wonderful during warm days.
Nice decor, customer service at minimal, I wasn’t sure if thats their style. I ordered a cold brew, it’s light roasted and leaves a sour taste in your mouth after. Not what I expected for a summer drink. Will get a starbucks nitro (way better) next time since it costs about the same.
Great coffee place! Skip the franchises in Unionville, and find this local gem instead! This adorable little coffee shop carries many options for coffee beans by many roasters, Sloane teas, and yummy treats from Soma Chocolatier, and Courage Cookies. Service team are all lovely!
Customer service non-existent. 2 people behind the counter. No acknowledgement when we walked in and said hello. 1 person was cleaning/fixing equipment. 1 person was staring at the floor. Had to ask to be served. Coffee not great.
- pour over 8oz = $4.50 -《Chungry Rating = 10/10》Main Street Unionville is a neighborhood with a very unique and historical feel to it. Most of the buildings have been there since Unionville was first founded in 1794, so as you walk down the street, it's like you're traveling back in time. ? However, if you look closely, a lot of the spaces are occupied by newer stores and restaurants, so it's an interesting juxtaposition of the new and the old.Pod Coffee Shop is tucked away next to The Alley, a short walk away off of Main Street. As you walk down the brick path, you start to see that blend of new and old I mentioned earlier. The building itself is older, but when you peek inside, the decor is simple and modern. Also, I need to shoutout their logo. I love the symmetry and how minimalistic it is!! ?My friends and I were greeted by their super friendly staff, and after we ordered, they actually took the time to explain exactly where their coffee beans were from, how it was roasted, and what flavour notes I could expect. I know that information can be found on the bag of beans, but in my experience, I've never had a barista actually offer to explain all of that to me. For my pour-over, they used the Dubon Bros blend from Phil and Sebastian. These beans were from Honduras and roasted in Calgary. There were nutty notes to the coffee with a bit of fruitiness that I really enjoyed!! ☕When I visited, everything was decorated for the holiday season, even the lids at Pod Coffee! ?? We took our coffees and had a great time walking down the Main Street and around Toogood Pond. I'd bundle up because it can get cold, but I'd highly recommend Unionville to anybody looking for something relaxing to do this winter! ☃️☃️☃️
Tucked in a pocket on Unionville's Main Street, this coffee shop elicits calm. It was our first time at Unionville, and we were just wandering about to sample the town's edible goods. Glad we landed up here!Their hot chocolate was simply luscious. And I don't know if it's just me because I can't drink really hot beverages, the drinks were served at exactly the right temperature.
Cute little spot in Unionville, amazing staff, and DELICIOUS lattes! We had the matcha latter with oat milk and were quite impressed. Would love to go back here when dining indoors is possible to check out the vibes.
Cute store on beautiful Main Street Union. The coffee is really good too. Highly recommended the pour over coffee which is not too strong, mildly acidic with a long finish. Their cookies are very nice: crunchy exterior while soft and melting inside. You can park at the public parking about 300m north (opp the church)
