Excellent place for pho! The flavour is YUMMY! I got the Curry Chicken Soup and the vegetarian spring rolls. Everything was tasty and excellent portions.
Good, reliable pho. The soups and the grilled meats are great. I go here regularly and it's consistently great. Clean, good service, comforting food, and teapots that don't spill! :)
We’ve consistently had good service and food here the past few visits. Even one evening they were very busy and had a small wait. Glad to have a reliable Vietnamese restaurant nearby.
I ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork, spring roll, and Vietnamese sausage (D02) two times and I really liked the portions they give for the price, lots of meat and vermicelli. It was a tasty and quick meal as my order was ready within 10 minutes and staff was also very friendly when I called.
Bad service bad food. Waiters and waitresses simply just ignore you. Took forever to order food and took a long time to ask for the bill. Ordered pad Thai and a pho, and they brought two phos. Told them and they looked at the order in the system and replaced the extra pho with the pad Thai. The pad Thai was very bad. All I taste is a sweet tomato sauce, no where close to a good pad Thai. The pho was better but not enough soup. Overall very bad experience and won’t be returning here.
The food here is not all that bad, but the service is not very good. None of the servers speak English (barely), and it seems like you should not even enter the place unless you can speak Mandarin. The portions have also gotten smaller, and they have increased the prices. Hence, they are getting you from both sides (smaller portions and higher prices). I went there today, and I asked for Water 3x before the waiter brought it. I asked for the tea in the small tea pot they normally provide, and he brought me a small cup of tea instead. I asked for a fork 2x, and then he brought it. I asked for extra fish sauce and Soy sauce with my order, and he didn't bring me extra fish sauce, and brought a very small amount of soy (they treat Soy like it's gold, and only give a very little amount). All of the above examples are to illustrate a point, which is to say they don't speak English, and they do not care to remember all the things that were asked for, and they do not seem to care much about it. They never smile, and never say Thank you. They have no manners. This place makes you feel like your money is no good, unless you can speak Mandarin. Why bother coming to this Pho place, when there is another Pho place located at the plaza next door (beside the Subway and Baskin Robbins), which has Pho which tastes just as good if not better, they can speak English, and they make you feel welcome. It's a no brainer. Try the other place. You'll thank me for it.
Has been a few years since my last visit. The restaurant supplies us with a large mug to clean/rinse our utensils in, which I appreciate. They also will provide pencil and paper for you to jot down your order.[ E03 rice with 4 flavours ] - The dish comes with Grilled Pork Chop, Baked Egg, Shrimp Bean Curd, Shredded Pork & Shredded Pork Skin.The dish felt downsized and the shrimp bean curd was a bit thin causing it to be tough to eat.The amount of fish sauce given is not sufficient and definitely taken away from the experience when having to stop and ask for more fish sauce.[ Fried spring rolls ] - Pretty decent spring rolls, I like this style of wrap that has a nice crust.
Not only do they offer fresh and flavourful meals but they also make sure you have an awesome experience w their friendly service ?The noodles in the soup were rly soft while the pepper chicken was super crispy and tasty ? my fav tho, the vermicelli✨ was densely packed and a great option if you’re trying to beat the heat Check out my IG page @kellychows for more! ?
I'll give the benefit of the doubt, I think the servers were too busy and forgot to give us napkins when the food arrived until we finished. I do wish there was more beef and beef balls in the large pho size I ordered, it felt little with mostly noodles. Other then that the food is exactly what you would expect to taste.
I was really impressed with this place, excellent food selection, really well made menu with pictures of almost all the options. Cook and waitress go over and beyond to explain and make sure you know what you are ordering. Might just be my new favorite pho.
