My husband I purchased a chicken on the rocks today at your Markham and Castlemore location in Markham,Ontario.I am very disappointed in the level of service that was provided. First off, we ordered over the phone for a large chicken on the rocks and a large chicken with half fries and half rice. We picked it up and drove home without looking at the food. Once we got home we noticed that the portions of chicken for both plates was a lot less than usual at this location and from other locations I have been to. I have no other problem with the quality and quantity at other locations and I have always loved the food your company provides.We drove back to ask them about the quality of food they provided hoping that it was a simple mistake and that they would just fix it. However, when we asked the staff there, they refused to add more chicken or give us a new order as it was the reasonable action to take. I will provide a photo of what was served to us and I believe the workers at this location have really low customer service skills which need to be addressed immediately. I have never had to complain before about anyone’s service or product before as normally I avoid restaurant businesses with bad reputations but as I said I love your food and feel that this location was trying to give us a subpar product and could have easily rectified the situation but they chose instead to give me a refund after wasting my time and gas to go and come back twice to this location.Instead of writing a poor experience review on instagram and google, we actually wrote an email to them and they still refused no reply back with a poor response. I’m letting you know this is not accepted in the industry standard. I would really appreciate a response as soon as possible and if there is anything you can do to make up for their mistake. I look forward to hearing back from someone soon.
I got some baklava along with chicken poutine . The staff told me ones on the bottom are old and so he gave me a box from the top which was supposed to be ok. The tops ones were old too and tasted awful. Why would they even display old food, let alone sell it ? Having worked in fast-food before I wouldn’t blame the staff but it shows how owners are negligent towards unhygienic and illegal practises. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same thing for other foods that they sell.
Very bad service. Messed up my order. I cslled to inform. The staff checked and responded that they made a mistake. No apology. Asked me to come and take a refund. For sure, this is not a place to but your meals.
Undercooked chicken, rice and some fries tasted undercooked. The garlic sauce and extra hot sauce tasted really nice compared to other locations I've been, but they put little less of the garlic sauce. I keep going back to osmows a handful of times per year at different locations whenever I see one because I'm riding on the memories of the osmows I used to have weekly 5 years ago, but I keep getting let down
Alot of Osmows locations have been hit or miss in terms of quality. This location however has always been on point and never an issue. Much rather go out of my way to visit this one versus two other locations near my house just because of the consistency of a great wrap everytime.
Taste of falafel was raw, they were uncooked and the parts of it were scrapped. Chicken was so dry and burnt. Shawarma wasn’t wrapped well as it was all over. Bad customer service. I don’t want to try Mediterranean food again soon because of this experience. Wasted food and money sadly. Restaurant is not so clean. I made combo and the person forgot about drink and I had to ask.
Got a shawarma wrap and cost me over $12. That is just not worth it. This is too much for a small wrap sandwich.
This was my first visit to Osmow's, I tried the beef Saj wrap. Fast service and i like their ordering system. Very tasty, lots of toppings and I enjoyed the beef.Note: their hot sauces are actually quite hot. I insisted on "extra hot" because i like heat and i've done spicy food challenges and it was seriously hot.
We tried the lamb shawarma and the Osmow's special chicken sandwich (with white meat), fries and the baklava. The chicken sandwich to our surprise contained pineapple. They shoud list all their ingredients in their sandwiches. I would stay away from the hot sauce (super hot) and stay safe and happy with the white garlic sauce. The fries were not top notch and too dry. The boxed baklava was a total disaster - rock hard and not fresh.
One of the best osmows in the gta hands downs. I’m picky with my food and where I get it from, thankfully this branch is close to where I live on highway 48/major mac. It is clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming ! That’s why I keep coming back, thanks to shubham, simer and parneet for always keeping a wide warm smile whenever I walk in.
