Capellini - excellent overall, though the pasta is pretty heavy
Surf and Turf - excellent tasting dish, the pork skin could be crispier though
Truffle Fries - great tasting app but the fries are the cheap kind, very similar to Costco’s
Matcha Yuzu Pineapple Sprite - can barely taste the matcha
3.5 stars for the food and 4.5 stars for the service and environment. The food was ok, but to came out very quickly during lunch. The burger was a bit too char and pancake so a bit dense. We came by bike and there is a lot of space to park it while we enjoy the lunch at the patio. The service was good, and quick. The only complaint is I wish they clear up the patio a bit as there was a lot bird poo and dead insects on the railing around the patio.
What a cute discovery! A very beautiful restaurant, great indoor and outdoor space, free parking and delicious food! I had the berry fizz drink, perfect for a late afternoon. For the main course, I had the lamb barbacoa taco. The best part was the dessert, coconut and cream!! It looks so beautiful I did not want to touch it.Look forward to coming back. Excellent food and good service special Sarah C alway smiles ????? Recommend Avocado Toast with Simon.
I had a great brunch here. I had the brunch tower and it was delicious (and generous portions). The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were my favourite part . They were so light and fluffy and the strawberry topping tasted very fresh. Service was relatively quick and the staff was friendly and polite . I’d like to go back to try their dinner menu and experience their patio (which was unfortunately closed due to weather).
What a fun place for a brunch, beautiful location in the heart of Unionville, creative menu, we wanted to try everything! Decided to order the Brunch Tower which was awesome! Everything was tasty and well presented. On top of the tower were the pancakes of the day, which were Macha flavored and an absolute delight. We'll definitely be back!
Good service is as important as good food for restaurants. The brunch here is good but the service is mediocre. There is no point to make reservation in advance. You will get a better seating on the patio and faster service if you walk in and get on their waiting list when you arrive. If you live in downtown Toronto like me, it’s not worth a drive to Unionville! I would rather go to Mildred’s Temple Kitchen in Liberty Village.
