Visited this place with a party of 6 and got the medium sashimi/sushi/roll tray for $90. Overall it's a decent amount of food, but if you're all heavy eaters, you may need something extra.The location is a relatively small diner with limited seating, but the staff is friendly and the food is even friendlier ;)The appetizers served included miso soup and salad, but also a small bowl of soba in fish broth which was quite delectable.The salmon sashimi was definitely good quality and very much recommended. Sadly the place did not serve chutoro or otoro and their normal maguro tuna wasn't the best. However, their other sashimi fish were quite tasty and fresh.The rolls were a solid 7-8/10 and they were of a good size and quantity.The place also played some nice mid 2010s pop :DI would lean more towards 4.6 or so but between 4 or 5 out of 5, I'd give it a 5.
Dropped in for dinner after a day of cycling, the place was busy which is always a good sign. Staff were friendly and we were promptly seated. Ordered 3 varieties of sushi including the beef, all were spectacular. Would go back again
We got their Small Sashimi + Sushi + Roll Tray. Their Tray came with 20 pieces of Sashimi, 10 pieces of Sushi, Red Dragon and Green Dragon Rolls. The Fish used were incredibly fresh, the Sushi and Rolls were all perfectly executed! We normally order Sushi Trays to go, but having it at the restaurant was a first, and we enjoyed it so much, especially it came with Salad, Soba Noodle Soup, and Miso Soup!
I love this place! If you're craving sushi (not AYCE type of crave), you should definitely try MiKi sushi. Food is awesome, service is efficient, staff is friendly, and miso soup is not watered down (this is usually a good tell if quality of food is great or not LOL) A+++ Only thing is, their space is small, so it's always better to call in advance to reserve seats.
Oh my oh my!! This place offers the best quality sushi!!! Surreal!!! We are in love with everything this place has. From great, friendly employees and waiters who calls you by your first name to tasty, fresh giants sushi rolls! If you go there you must try their salads and lobster rolls!! Everything is excellent, fantastic quality for a really reasonable price. Also, they make you feel really loved! We love you Miki sushi and thank you for your amazingly sweet service! We need more restaurants to be like Miki!! We love really far away from this place but 190% worth the long ride!!!
First time getting take out platter here, friendly person on the phone to take order, went with sushi sashimi platter $49 with 10% off when pay cash so that was nice. The parking is kind of limited with one strip of parking in the front. Now for the food the the fish was fresh, i like how they added a bit of what seams to be roasted garlic bits to enhance the flavour of one type of the white fish, kind of different twist than just plain fish. Overall very pleased and enjoyed it a lot.
Ordered a few times at this restaurant. The fish was super fresh and the sushi rice was the perfect temperature. Miso soup was delicious. 10/10 would recommend!
My favourite is the pressed salmon sushi and their gigantic dynamite roll. I replace it from spicy sauce to garlic mayo, my spicy tolerance is a no go. Amazing quality, doesnt over load the sushi and rolls with rice. Good ratio. Highly recommend. Tax free if you pay with cash to take out.
Mi•ki Sushi is one of my favourite sushi to go in Markham! I have been ordering and dining here for quite some time and I highly recommend this place. It's such a cozy dining area. At the corner of Mainstreet Unionville and Highway 7th.Service is excellent and attentive. All the staff greets you with friendly manners and they're very welcoming.Food has increased its prices yet still fresh and delicious. I've always ordered Salmon Lover (which comes with sushi rolls, salmon sashimi, miso soup, Korean noodles soup). Overall, you can pretty much ordered base on your wants and cravings with no regrets but a satisfying deliciousness!
Everything about this place was absolutely wonderful. The servers were extremely friendly and efficient - one of them even suggested that we try a more expensive special roll instead of what we originally picked for the dinner for two combo! We took his suggestion and got their Miki Lobster Roll - it was SO good (and huge - you definitely can't eat it in one mouthfull no matter how hard you might try). The teriyaki chicken was nice and tender, the udon was delicious, and the tempura was also very good!
