This was a hidden gem inside the King Square Shopping Mall. It was a decent congee & noodle shop. The staff there were very friendly. Everything was fresh and yummy. The deep fried dace fish ball was really good. The shop was well organized and clean. It was a nice place to enjoy congee and wonton noodles. We will definitely go back more often.
Very nice people, who greeted me well and brought me to my table. They asked me nicely if I could move to another table because they could fit a bigger group by putting my table with the one beside mine, and I agreed. They were really nice about it and I didn’t feel like they were forcing me to move.Food was good. Ordered a beef congee with dough fritters. Congee was very hot and dough fritters were fresh. Will be back!
My new favourite restaurant for some of the best wonton noodles, congee and cheung fun. Incredibly fresh and high quality food. Tom’s customer service is also top notch. Will be coming back regularly!
Everything is very good, it's familiar tasty. The pork liver is smooth. Will go again.
Not cheap but very good wonton noodles. Noodles are very chewy just like the ones in Hong Kong. Very clean and friendly.
Welcome this new restaurant to Markham. The appetizer gives us a pleasant surprise. The congee with beef and liver is nice in the way that the congee is not too salty, that the liver is crispy and that the beef is soft and smooth. The rice wrap of the Chinese donut is super thin. This demonstrates the chef's mindful and delicate skills.Regarding the noodle with wonton and beef tendon, the noodle and wonton is nice. It would be better if the beef tendon is less salty.Wholeheartedly recommended.
Beef brisket and tendon very tasty and well stew. Noodle is springy and generous.
I had their pork hock rice with tea combo. $13 bucks great value. Tasty. Portions are decent. I highlyRecommend.
Overall is okay. The wonton noodle soup portion is very small. The taste is fine. Big trio tastes better. The congee is a bit watery. Location is great though! We came because it was raining and we didn’t want to get wet.Updated:Came back here the second time. The congee was smooth and thick. I recommend to come for lunch as they are often out of congee or other items at the end of the day.
This shop lives up to its name. They have the best liver lo mein I have had. The noodle was springy and not too strong in the smell. The liver was cooked perfectly, plump and really juicy. The soup could be stronger in umaminess and depth, but those who prefer a lighter taste will appreciate it. The rice roll was decent but the dough stick turned a bit chewy after steaming.
