Overall, this place is expensive and a waste of your money. I ordered a sushi burrito and it wasn’t even wrapped properly, everything fell apart from the moment I picked it up. The only good thing I can say about the burrito is that the salmon portion was okay, but everything else was a mess. The base price for the sushi burrito is not expensive, however if you want to add a simple topping such as cucumber they will charge you $0.85 and $1.25 for premium toppings such as avocado. I don’t mind paying a few dollars to add a few toppings but the problem is that they give you too much of it because you are paying for it and then they are unable to properly wrap it. Their poke bowls are such a joke, the rice portion was no more than 3 table spoons and it was dry and stale, furthermore you get more pieces of bitter, dry vegetables than rice, also the bowl is so shallow it’s like a plate. The protein for the poke bowl you get (I got unagi) is so small and pitiful, to be more clear there were exactly 3 pieces of thinly sliced unagi in the poke bowl. This place offers a variety of foods such as sushi trays, poke bowls, and sushi burritos but unfortunately none of them are up to quality standards. Also I came here twice in the past and the food wasn’t that bad, but I noticed that if you come in when they just open at 11:00 or 11:30 on weekends, they give you an attitude and move at a slow pace because they aren’t ready yet; if you are not prepared to serve customers during the start of your hours, than CHANGE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS, don’t make it the customers fault because your employees are unprepared for business. If you want a poke bowl just go to poke guys and if you want sushi, go to a sushi restaurant, this place is just a mess.
This is, hands down, the BEST poke I've had in the GTA! can't say enough good things about this place. I've tried the salmon and tuna poke bowls, gyoza, some of the maki, and they're all top notch. My favorite is the Firefin Ahi bowl with teriyaki and wasabi mayo. First of all, the fish is always so fresh it melts in your mouth. The mango is perfectly ripe (no crunchy pale pieces), and I love the mix of toppings. I'm always impressed with this, no matter how many times I've had it. Delicious and fresh!
I've ordered online from Makirrito many times especially during these past two years. The online ordering makes the process easy and smooth. I've always been a fan of their sushi burritos (I've tried all of them except the veggie one), they definitely don't skimp on the protein. They have a new "Dragon burrito" with shrimp tempura and unagi which was fricking delicious. Staff is friendly and their storefront is really clean too.
I am surprised this is getting all these good reviews. It's the worst Poke bowl in the area! The rice was dry and at most 2 spoon full. All the rest are stuffed with just toppings and fillers. Fish wasn't even fresh.There are a lot of different options in the area, I do recommend skip this one. I rarely leave negative feedback but I genuinely felt like getting ripped off. Nope, they aren't cheap either.
Always so amazing and they are not shady with the toppings at all. Always fresh and delicious.I always go for the bowls and my partner loves their burritos. Always on point!
Ordered the Aloha Salmon poke bowl, it's very delicious. The portion seems smaller than before, but just a good size for me. Also added on a salmon maki for 50% off after 5pm from their promotion.
Lady at cash was obnoxious and rushed my entire order. Felt extremely unwelcomed. If you're over worked or tired then take a day off.8:23pm 01/08/2022Food is delicious, just wish I had a different cashier.
Very good. Like everyone else on the reviews though, they don't use a lot of rice which I'm glad because it usually goes wasted but I think they should have 20% more. Fish is fresh and they have lobster add on for $8. I would go back next time I'm in the area.

Best sushi burrito in town! Their sushi burritos are a really decent size for what you’re paying and they don’t fall apart when eating.Very flavorful and when it comes to take out, and they always give the generous amount of soy sauce packets and napkins. Will go nowhere else for sushi burrito. Recommend this place to all.
