Wanted this to be good but it was really quite ‘meh’ for price and portion. Good for children and babies as the washroom has a changing table and pretty empty, plus utensil for kid.The menu has a lot of items but the description can be confusing for what has what. May be better to focus on less and do those things really well instead of adding more menu items, which allows for things to be fresher too. Was surprised to see all the other promos on the window when leaving. Running the place like downtown sushi places or strip mall sushi isn’t a good idea.
This place is one in a million. The sashimi cuts are large and high quality. The black diamond roll is the best roll I have ever had. The service was also impeccable both times I've been there.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE OR EAT HERE!!!!! Went to go pick up a delivery order through a delivery app and the lady at the front was beyond rude. She ignored me initially. Once she chose to give me the time of day to at least tell her that I’m here to pick up, she insisted in coming back to pick up the order in 20 mins which is unheard of when picking up a delivery order. She also swore at me publicly in front of other customers. What kind of service is this? The worst experience as a delivery person. Definitely wouldn’t think of ordering here. Feeling mistreated..especially on Mother’s Day. Absolute worst!!!!!
We order online from this restaurant every now and then, but the last order had spoiled tuna in our sashimi boat. We asked the restaurant for a partial refund and they refused, claiming their fish was fine. The tuna smelled terrible and tasted mushy. Something wasn't right. We won't be ordering from here ever again.
Tried to order 3 salmon lover sets the other day. I asked them to make the salmon rolls in 2 of the sets not spicy and they wanted to charge me an extra $3 . When I said I wouldn't do that they tried to do me a "favor" (their words not mine) and charge me $2 instead. Never been charged more for REMOVING something off a dish in my life.
Main Sushi is always so delicious. Consistent, fresh and well priced for the quality!Easy to order and pick up too with convenient street parking to just pop in and grab your food.
Ordered online at the end of the night and food arrived in a decent time. But wow, go read all the other one star reviews and they are completely right. The rice was a disgusting grey/brown colour. This is not acceptable. I really hope the online delivery apps take them off their system.
Ordered here a couple of times throughout Covid and found the sushi rolls pretty good every time. It's one of my go-to places in Markham for sure. Haven't tried anything other than their sushi so can't comment on other items
