Best Greek food in markham hands down!! The food is amazing. The quality and the quantity for what you are paying leaves your pocket and tummy happy. I couldn't get enough of the calamari appetizers. The waiter and workers were very welcoming and nice.
Really enjoyable Greek restaurant on Markham Main St. I had their chicken souvlaki dinner and wow… there was a lot to eat. Chicken very nice as were all the accompanying rice, potatoes and Greek salad. I also ordered pita and hummus and didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Superb little spot, and next time I’ll be more adventurous on the menu!
My favourite Greek food place! Authentic, family run restaurant the best and freshest foods!!Must try:Chicken souvlaki dinner (comes with garlic bread, Greek salad, potatoes and white)Pork gyro pitaGreek salad
The food, ambience and service altogether was amazing, since it was a weekday so not much busy and easy to get a place to dine-in during the evening time for dinner. I must say that the gyros dinner had too much of potatoes in it which can be reduced instead and replaced with some more gyros portion :P but overall a good experience!
This is a small restaurant with good food and service. Price is fair and the owners are very friendly. Will be back again real soon.
Chicken gyro wrap. Very dry chicken. See photo. Hard to enjoy :( had high hopes given the reviews
I had the pork souvlaki. Food was on point. Pork tasted great with the rice and potatoes. Salad was good too!
I was out with my uncle and aunt for a leisurely drive to explore, and relieve the boredom. These outings usually involve lunch or dinner so when they expressed an interest in Greek cuisine, there's only one place that I thought of, Main St. Greek in Markham. Since it was their first time here, the Pikilia platter seemed like an appropriate introduction. It includes Lamb Chops, Loukaniko Sausage, Chicken Souvlaki, Pork Souvlaki, and Bifteki, served with classic Greek Salad, Tzatziki, and Bread. Of course, they also had to try the delicious Pork Gyros, and the Calamaria. They loved it all, just as I knew they would! Besides the great tasting food, the serviced was friendly and excellent. We'll definitely be back!
I've been coming here since they opened up, by far the best Greek food in Markham. Growing up in East York and after moving to Markham this was a much needed restaurant here, in terms of quality it's up there with the well known places on the Danforth and in some cases better.
Simply, WOW… perfectly seasoned, asked for medium rare lamb chops, beautifully pink in the middle.. the rice and potatoes are SO good… unbelievable, will definitely come back.
