My sister and I ordered takeout, and our verdict is that it's not bad, but not great Thai food. Overall felt that seasoning was just a bit lacking in comparison to what we expect for Thai cuisine.Mango sticky rice: 4/5Highlight of the meal. Mango was ripe and went very well with the coconut sticky rice.Tom yum soup: 3.5/5Not bad, though sweeter than I'm used to tom yum soup being.Tamarind curry (we paired it with the coconut rice): 3/5Flavour was not bad but it was much sweeter than I was expecting, and the potato chunks were either cut too large for their cooking time, or they had undercooked them. There was a crunch biting into them, and since they were cut so large, it just didn't feel like it fit in texturally with the rest of the curry. Would have said it was a 3.5 if not for the potatoes.Thai basil fried rice (with chicken): 2.5/5Compared to other fried rices I've had at Thai restaurants, it just seemed to lack seasoning? It was one of those 'okay, but probably wouldn't reorder' type of dishes. Couldn't really make out the basil flavour.
I was walking along that strip with my 4yr old granddaughter and decided to stop and order a dinner. Restaurant was empty!Restaurant manager/owner/host ? Was not very helpful when I asked questions about the menu . He seemed to be getting annoyed and was rushing me to place an order. I ordered vegetable pad Thai and tofu fried rice and peanut satay chicken.Paid $61 with $5 tip which I had second thoughts about. Food tasted terrible! Pad Thai tasted off and really not edible. Chicken satay was $14 for 4 small strips on a screwer. Not worth my hard earned $61!!Will never order from there again.Quality of food was terrible. Quantity of portions small and very expensive ! Service very rude!
Hidden gem in Markham for wonderful authentic Thai food. You should definitely try the sticky rice with mangoes dessert - oh so delicious! Big restaurant too, lots of tables, good for a party. Ample parking in front. Prices have gone up a but but still worth it.
Tucked away in a small corner with plaza. This little place serves up some pretty tasty dishes. Staff are friendly and attentive. Your water glass is never empty. I tried several dishes at this place, green curry, pad Thai, sweet and sour shrimp, corn sweet peas and carrot, pineapple fried rice, fresh rolls, satay chicken, mango salad, mango sticky rice and the roti roll. The vegetable dishes were a tad salty, but all the other dishes were well flavoured. I would come here again.
Scheduled an order in advance of dinner time through Uber Eats for Mother's Day. After having the order pushed back 3 times, resulting in a 30 minute delay, I called the restaurant to figure out what was going on. They just kept telling me to wait and my order would be ready "soon". I was not able to get a clear answer from them until I just flat out asked them if they had prepared my order... In which he said "No." So... 30 minutes after my order was supposed to arrive, they had not even started cooking my order and said they would not start cooking it for a while because they were "very busy". A driver was even sent to their restaurant but had left because the order wasn't ready.Understandably, it's Mother's Day and I know restaurants would be very busy but I specifically planned ahead for that and ordered in advance. I've never had this restaurant before but I know they're not new - they should know how to handle the holiday rush by now.
Ordered some Chicken Pad Thai today. From the reviews I was very excited, but the Pad Thai was quite terrible. Too much of a Ketchup taste (sickly sweet) with hardly any flavour that you would expect from a Thai restaurant plus the chicken was chewy and stale and smelled weird. The prices are too expensive for the food offered. Seems prices have gone up multiple times in recent times . Paid close to $20 for a Pad Thai. Not something that is good value for money.Overall wouldn't go back to this place nor recommend to anyone.
The best Thai food I've had in York Region. Sad it's far away from me :(Their cashew chicken tastes super unique from the average Thai restaurant and much tastier. Pad Thai is also great.
Best Thai experience ever for someone with stupid allergies (me) ?.They were so sweet to accommodate my seafood, coconut, and peanut allergy so I could taste their dishes!Loved the Pad Thai Fusion (Chicken) but I would even come here SOLELY for the Roti Rolls dessert.
I picked up basil chicken Thai meal and a curry beef meal. Basil chicken smells great, but was a bit too spicy for me. The curry was sweet more than spicy. Lots of beef. Food is delicious.
2 price increases since the beginning of the year. For example: appetizer plate used to be $15.99 2021, they first changed it to $17.99($2increase) Jan 2,2021 then to $19.99 Jan7,2021. Their % and rate of increases is even crazier than Chanel. Just beware of the changes before you order. Especially since their portion is knows to be small.
