Catering to HK style English meals. Prices have gone up $2 across the board recently.
Definitely didn’t meet expectations which were pretty low to begin with. The garlic bread is essentially a toasted slice of white Villaggio bread with some butter. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp pasta in lobster sauce…it’s a plate of overcooked pasta, plainly boiled shrimp, raw bell peppers, and button mushrooms swimming in their lobster bisque soup. For what it costed ($27) it was pretty disappointing. I would’ve given 1 star but the wait staff are really nice.
great food, good deal when you visit in tea time
I had lunch n dinner at the Markham hotel/Inn, its ok but pre pandemic. But this one is definitely not good. Daily soup ok but I can do better, cream of broccoli. I have filet of sole, of course frozen fish but it doesn't look like filet of sole really thick piece and salty, no sauce just grilled. comes with Caesar salad but hardly any sauce, does have bacon so its tasteless. for the price I can find a lot of better places.
I did not have a bad meal at all the times I have been here. Some of the staff do not understand English very well, but they are very friendly and aim to please.
Laughable Bruschetta. Brown Wonderbread with cheap tomatoes and powdered Parmesan. Hard pass. $10
Service here was great and efficient. Food came quickly and tasted pretty good. I got the linguine bolognese which was large in portion and came with a soup and tea as well. Overall the dining experience here was good. The staff were informative of their discounts available and tried their best to answer any additional questions.
This was an OK experience... I enjoyed the honey mustard porkchop. It was extremely tender and juicy. I think the only thing that they could improve was the side portions. The price was good for the main course portion.
Poor food quality with the price is above average. Never had a club house sandwich with such a bad taste, the ice tea tasted like added water. Will not coming again.
