I love AYCE since I feel the freedom of eating however much I want ? My family really likes this spot so we went back for their AYCE hotpot skewers There’s a lot of variety like meat/seafood, veg, fish balls, noodles etc. They have a nice sauce station with fried soybeans and peanuts, which is rarely offered at other hotpot restaurants. Plum juice was free and went really well with the mala soup base. We also tried a coconut chicken soup base which was on the lighter side.In addition to the AYCE, you’re also able to order additional dishes (for free if you’re a VIP). We got lots meat, snacks, and drinks. In general a really great experience and would recommend ? Follow @erinwithmatt for more Toronto eats!
Went to this place in 2021. First of all, the soup tasted awful! either very spicy or salty. The cold dish is really cold. I mean you can taste ice on it!! The funny part is, the owner told me if you pay cash you will get 10%. When the bill came I questioned why there was no discount? Owner said it's ok just don't pay TIP. Seems to be right? But the bill charged 12% service charge!!!( I can't really remember it's 10% or 12% this was in 2021). So I just pay the amount on bill and didn't include tip. But wait! So I was supposed to pay both service charge and TIP? Good try!
Ordered make your own hotpot and braised beef combo. Overall flavour was ok. But portion is really small. You can count the pieces of beef in the container. Also side dish did not match the description. Description said tea egg but it came with black fungus instead which I cannot eat. Wish the restaurant paid more attention to customer service.
I placed an order on Dec 18 for a beef skewer hotpot combo and a seafood skewer hotpot combo to go, it was nicely packed with a decent number of skewers and i reordered for the same thing again 2 weeks after but getting a totally different items. Everything was already cooked not in skewer and put into one plastic container, trying to talk to the staffs and they were being very rude and said that the first order was given wrong, that's why they are different. Never will come to this place again.
Their skewers are so good and the BBQ guys were really chill and friendly.
Really great experience here! There skewers and AYCE sides are great! The meat quality was really good as well but it came out slower than expected. The soup bases were VERY flavourful - make sure you get their house spicy soup in heavenly spicy. It's super spicy and maa laat. Overall very great food and service experience. My only negative is that the King Square mall is still so new that it was confusing trying to find the restaurant. There were a few signs but it was still hard to find. Other than thatz there is free parking in the mall so it will be great once this mall opens up fully.
IG: missasia.pattycAs part of the Miss Asia Canada pageant, I got to eat dinner at Kungfu Hotpot Skewer in Markham. Hotpot is one of the best ways to share food with family or friends and enjoy a good time. The interior is beautiful with decorative cherry blossoms. Most selections of food they have are all on sticks, which actually makes it so much easier to find all your food once dunked into the pot, that way it will never get lost in the ending sea of deliciousness. I personally have never had it that way before, so it was quite innovative. The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming and a great conversationalist. I definitely recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists alike :)

Fresh food and good services. Hotpot buffet and Chinese kebab buffet taste good.
The boss man has extremely bad temper, we ordered take-out but serve wrong food, the boss man just shout at us and hang up.
