Friendly staffs. We had a "Supreme Sushi, Sashimi & Roll" party tray. The packaging itself was worth the visit. It's so cute! The food were flavorful, and service was fast. We didn't order before we get there and it only took 15 minutes. There's no more dine in tables, only take out. I recommend this place.
Solid sushi, a bit on the expensive side. We ordered the vintage Sushi and Roll platter for 4 and had a picnic at a park. The fish was of very good quality, and the rice was cooked well. Only issue was the quantity, I feel like 48 pieces can easily serve 2 or 3 nevermind 4.I especially loved how they packed the sushi by wrapping it in cloth!
The sushi was yummy and fresh, and the rolls were somewhat unique from other places. Great presentation too! It is a bit on the pricier side with a smaller variety compared to other places (which might be a downside if you're ordering for a big group or those who prefer cooked items), but I'd definitely get their food again once in awhile or for special occasions.
Taste of omakase at home! ordered the supreme sushi and the supreme otoro set. They were both extremely satisfying. The owner takes great pride in the freshness and quality of their food. Highly recommended.
IKON sushi offers excellent quality sushi, sashimi, and exclusive sake products. Their product packaging comes wrapped in a piece of decorative cloth – very unique and not available from any other sushi shop.*** NOTE: I believe this is not mentioned anywhere on their website. All of their sushi and sashimi are pre-order only. Take Out or Delivery only.Perhaps it would help to add this information to their website. As an example – their Vintage Sashimi 28 pieces set for 2 (product code V1) takes 30 minutes to prepare. ***
Love this place!! We ordered takeout from IKON sushi and honestly stunned by how beautiful the packaging was! Everything was so fresh, especially the sashimi. This is definitely worth a try!
Every piece of sushi had their unique flavour. Definitely a bit more pricey but worth it for the great quality. My favourite sushi was definitely the purple roll. They even wrapped the sushi platter in a towel which I thought was pretty cool! Would come here again for a special occasion ?
Picked up our first take out order of S6 with a nice bottle of Daiginjo sake recommended by the staff. This meal was special. The freshness and variety of fish was excellent for most part (the a la carte uni had off putting flavour) and I can't wait to try out their other offerings. The ser we ordered had too many rolls for our family of 3 so next time, we'll opt for a sashimi or sushi set without the rolls.
Really great sushi! Price point is a lot higher than average for our usual sushi places, but it does come elevated. (I did cry a bit on the inside) Each piece we felt was intentional and came across well done. Staff was pretty accommodating as well because I asked for an 8pm pick up time, and they did stay open for as long as they could to wait for me. They also had sake specials which were not on their site..so I was not prepared to purchase but save it for another time! After an hour of driving, the sushi still tasted fresh and did not crumble. We also got a salmon don which turned out to be a new favorite. We dont do brown or purple rice often, so it was interesting to have them in our sushi, which was a pleasant switch from white rice. They are opening up a Vaughan location so I'm happier that it will be easier for us west enders to get to!
Outstanding value! This Japanese restaurant has been a great discovery for my wife and I during the pandemic. They package the take-out food with care (wrapped in a textile, or 'furoshiki').Within, the sushi and sashimi is well made and has been a delight.
