You can't go wrong with their daily specials: Your choice of entree, soup of the day, deep fried spring roll, and drink for $9.50. Is this going to be the best Chinese you've ever had? No. Is it the most authentic Hakka? No. But if you have a craving for quick Chinese at a good price in East Markham, this is a good option. Avg 3 stars + one for value.
Extremely salty food. I would not recommend to anyone. Salty and tasteless food ever. Especially if you are Indian and looking to try something Chinese, this is not for you.
Owner is super rude! Couldn't find my online order after giving her the info. Bad attitude not helpful. Lots of back and forth, turns out my order was right in front of her. ::eyes rolling::
Got chilli beef and Bombay paneer.Personally the paneer was to drY BUT that being said it was deliciously seasoned.The chilly beef is battered and fried chunks which is different however it doesn't change the flavor of the meal. I ordered from UberEATS so i was worried it would be cold/gross because of the delivery time but it was honestly perfect.
The fried chicken wings and bombay chicken are delicious. The location, however, feels a stuffed and the staff aren't exactly friendly.
The lunch specials are mad value. They don't skimp out on the proteins. I always get bombay chicken from here
My husband bought take out from Hakka Wok recently. The food was well prepared and tasty. But sorry, it just isn't Hakka as I know it. Not enough spice. If you just want Chinese food, sure, order here. But if you are looking for Hakka - this isn't it.Customer service was good - we preordered online and got a quick call from the restaurant because they had run out of fish pakora. How do you run out of a menu item?
Ordered 4 lunch specials from Hakka Wok over the phone today (Dec 31) for take out. Arrived to pick up the food and they made 4 regular dishes. The lunch specials cost $7.75 + tax, and come with drinks as well. Spent an extra ~$15 and don’t have drinks with the meals.They didn’t support with the situation (e.g., admit to their mistake / charge lunch special prices, or offer the drinks free of charge). Also didn’t provide utensils when I indicated that we needed utensils. Not happy with the customer service.
Hubby and I come here at least once a week for sweet and sour fish, flat noodles and chili chicken. Absolutely delicious and great value
