This has always been talked about by my friends and workmates and good thing we had time to try it. We came in for lunch, which I guess is a good time, It's a bit packed but we're lucky to have been seated right away. Although it was lunch, you can choose to be served with dinner AYCE, more food to choose from. Their employees are fast to serve our orders, they were all nice and friendly. The place is superb, clean and spacious. We will surely come back for more ribs, and their side dishes. Parking is not an issue as well.
Every time I go to Toronto I visit Gyubee. The place is great. They have good quality meats and a variety of choices as an AYCE Jbbq joint. Ventilation is not bad so you dont smell too intense leaving the restaurant. Service was great and fast. Manager came and introduced himself and made sure everyone of their customers were leaving with a full belly and satisfied! They are also opening in Mtl for those who enjoy Gyubee in Toronto but live in MTL. Decent price for the decent quality they offer. Dont forget to try the creme brûlée at the end! Also was hoping theyd still do melona at the end but not anymore. They changed it to icecream now but we were to full to have any ? Great covid isolations too and staff all had masks! Respect! Love this place
If you are hungry for protein this is the place to go. My family had such a great time here with Good food and service.Every single bite was a wow and the staff here are quick and attentive the money I spent here was no waste at all.
Just wanted to take a moment to compliment the service we received from Billy this evening. He was super busy, and the restaurant was at capacity, and he was fantastic! I appreciate Billy who does a great job, and handled our table with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Well done!
First time to eat out since pandemic. I would give 4.8 for this place. Good food, Good service,Good experience...I was bit surprised such good service. They were monitoring each table. If they saw you almost finished your food, they will come right away to ask if you need more. And also, real fast to delivery food. Overall, we will visor again for sure....
Second or third experience between this location and Scarborough location. Great quality and service every time. Best items in my opinion - prime rib kalbi, garlic brisket, pork belly, ajillo (shrimp in like a buttery pesto garlic sauce with mushroom and tomatoes...we didn't know what it was and glad we found out). Take out options are fantastic too - our go to is the shabu tare and sukiyaki!
The restaurant's name was Gyubee and it looks like Korean style Barbeque!!They served quite good quality meat on the menu in the style that Koreans like in Korea. Ssamjang made with Korean soybean paste, lettuce, raw garlic, spicy raw chilli jalipino, kimchi, etc...The restaurant was a place where you could order and eat unlimited meat. Beef, Pork, Chicken etc.Thank you to my daughter's fiance for inviting me to this lunch today. At this event, my daughter and future son-in-law congratulated me on my recently celebrated birthday.
Very good food and so good love it
Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!!We got the Shabu Tare Yaki through UberEats BOGO. This came loaded with beef slices, on a bed of rice, the beef was tender, flavourful, smokey, and the portion was definitely perfect! Both of these also came with a side salad paired with sesame dressing, what an amazing deal!
I had a Friday night dinner here, and I have to say it's a pretty great BBQ restaurant. The only outstanding dishes are the Prime Kalbi, the marinated Short Rib, and the Creme Brulee; you have to order 15 of those to get your money's worth here. I have no idea how the lunch is worth ~$26 without those three options. The best word to describe everything else is tightness: the 2-hour limit is tight, and the seating and hallways are too tight. I would recommend Gyubee only for special occasions.
