This place is a hidden gem. We tried the vadas, spring rolls, aloo bonda, sweet bondas. The vadas could have been fluffier and the spring rolls were too dry with very less filling. The aloo bonda could have been warmer. The taste was good and satisfying. Will return to try their elaborate menu which I was told the prices have changed but not updated.
This is the first Sri Lankan restaurant in Canada. These foods are not only exotic, delicious, healthy but takes me away from my present surroundings.A true gem of culinary excellence.No need to cook.
Local South Asian Restaurant serving Fresh and Vibrant food. Never a bad time when ordering food for take-out. My personal favorites are the kothu roti, briyani, and kothu poohtoo.
Got the Chicken Kothu Roti for dinner last night. Very tasty dinner, plentiful portions, good mix of roti and curry, and remained hot even after delivery.Overall 10/10 meal, would recommend.
Ordered kothu rotti and briyani rice. Kothu roti was good but the roti they used was burnt a little.
They make crispy and tasty rolls. They also have other Srilankan food and snacks. To avoid waiting time, I ordered ahead and picked it up. We got kothu roti, and it was tasty. The restaurant is located in a good area. Thank you:)
Gasa use to be the only reliable place to buy a good kothu rotti back then at Kennedy and Finch. Their enthusiasm is unchanged, but too many restaurants around that area is a biggest stress, definitely they need to update their menu and relaunch
I been getting Kothu rotti from this place, but lately their quality and quantity is reduced. Kottu rotti doesn’t taste the same , specially when you make special order they don’t do what you ask.Poor customer service also poor food.
This restaurant may be small but they definitely know how to cook. The food is delicious and made fresh! I ordered two mutton rolls as an appetizer and the chicken kotthu roti as the main, they were both excellent. The mutton roles were so good I almost went back after I left to buy more. The kotthu roti was very fresh and had a lot of chicken (pretty spicy too). All this for a great price too! Definitely recommend!
