DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE. I would rate 0 if possible!!!They took at least 1/4 of my duck as I bought a whole bbq duck. Was in a rush so didn’t my pay close attention until reached home. Then found at least 1/4 of duck is missing. To be honest, I don’t mind if you charge higher price. However, please be HONEST! That’s a dignity of running a business. When thinking back, I wondered why the chef kept on looking at me; and now realized they r trying to part of my food away for their takeout dishes! The duck was delicious, but I would NEVER go back again because their dishonesty.

Go early to avoid the line ups

Extra is one of two very popular bbq shops in this food court, and have been around forever! There are some differences in the taste and preparation of the meats, but I have to say, there are some inconsistencies as well. For this reason, we tend to order from either one. The service used to be very friendly, so I’m not sure if the staff has changed, but the presentation is still spot on. The amount of food has shrunk, which is the new norm, and a lunchbox cost $8.00, but comes with complimentary soup. I still think a drink would be great, especially with our warmer weather!

I tried this place for the first time yesterday - and never again - poor quality meats and poor customer service !! I ordered the 1 lb roasted pork, 1/2 lb BBQ pork and half a BBQ duck.I asked to see the meat that the guy picked for me, but he picked, cut and boxed the meats in the super fast speed that I was unable to see anything. The owner (I assumed) punched in the total $$ super fast that I was unable to see the price by item. Great technique to fool the customers!!1) duck was very fatty, maybe with half of the edible meat only. Heavy on MSG.2) BBQ pork was incredibly DRY like cardboard with no meat taste. Looked like the meat that should have been disposed of - not for humans. Each slice was cut to about 1/2” thick. They gave me 1 lb versus 1/2 lb as I had requested. I can accept a little over but not doubled !!3) roasted pork was ok - still dry but at least more edible. Skin was crispy. Gave me way more than requested also. After eating a couple of bites of each meat, I was so furious that I threw all the meats into the green bin - an expensive dinner. Didn’t even think of taking pictures for this review at the time. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Lol, ordered takeout once to take home to eat, and found a whole dead cricket mixed in with the sauce and rice. Absolutely disgusting, too bad I forgot to take a picture of it. Also, there's one cashier lady, who has terrible customer service, asked for two chopsticks cause two people were eating it, and was told in the most aggressive tone, that next time I ask for an extra chopstick, I'd have to pay extra money for it. 0/5 stars tbh

I live their Chinese BBQ food! But a big problem is that they are lacking of consistency. Sometimes the meat are really good quality, meaty and cook perfectly. Sometimes I get very little meat or taste very salty.I don’t like to gamble, I want to have consistent and reliable food.

Would Return.Classic HK joint with juicy and tender meat. Prices are very fair however service is relatively slow.

This is the worst Chinese BBQ I ever had in my entire life, the food is literally NOT EDIBLE. The only reason it still exit is the price, you can hardly find any place cheaper than it. But for you own sake, just pay extra couple dollars to go elsewhere and find something edible, seriously.

This place is quite famous among local Chinese for its roast duck lunch combo. It is reasonably priced at $8 and you get a rather big portion. However, be prepared to line up for a good 30 minutes if you come here on weekends noons.

8/29/21 bought two Rice take out boxes, one is Chicken leg, roasted pork and BBQ duck (@$8), other one is Hainanese Chicken +extra salty duck egg(@$7+$1). Roasted pork was good as usual, c.leg is good too, but r.duck was all back bones. Hai Nan ? was boneless chicken leg with a little red sauce but the rice was not oily rice. The duck egg was a good choice, it was a low quality egg not the same as the picture, not orange ? colour and very dry. Price was up $1per dish from last time.
