The staff were all amazing! Just wish there was a greater variety of dishes available during the brunch buffet. Seemed to be a lot of salad variations.

Service and food were good. The servers were very attentive and personable. Food was tasty and fresh. Only issue was parking as it was not clear that parking was free if eat at restaurant. All signs in parking lot say is that must pay for parking or will get towed. Paid for parking and Hotel said that as have paid cannot refund as it is a different company that does the parking.
We tried the Sunday brunch buffet and were pleasantly surprised! The staff was attentive and friendly - often coming by to check on us and refilling our water and juice. The food exceeded our expectations, and there were lots of options for a brunch! Our favourites were the salad bar, desserts and the roast beef. The place was busy, but not uncomfortably so. Reservations are highly recommended!

Asked waiter to check of the food I ordered had dairy and never got back to me. When he gave me my food told me that the potatoes had cheese and didn't even bother to ask me if that was okay and walked away. Didn't even offer me an alternative. Waiter so clueless and was really disappointed. Would not recommend this to anyone.
Can I tell you how excited we were to return to Essence of Unionville! After a long pandemic closure, their Sunday brunch buffets resumed earlier this year. It’s still one of our favorite uptown brunch spots. A good option for afternoon tea uptown, with lots of seating. The kids' afternoon tea menu is a nice touch and well-received! We really appreciated how family friendly it was. The quality of the adult afternoon tea was mixed; the scones were yummy, but the desserts and sandwiches were only okay (some were a little dry). Our server was very attentive and polite. Overall, a good experience!
